The bathroom was magnificent, the bed was very comfortable and all the rooms in the house give a cozy and historic feel. The couple running Sorbitrees is very friendly. Sorbitrees is a lovely place to stay for those who want to explore the environment of Scotland's south.
Breakfast was fantastic, wide range and beautiful cooked food. Owners were equally fantastic and very welcoming.
Sandy was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had to leave to leave early in the morning and were therefore not expecting breakfast, but Sandy reassured us that it was not a problem and was up early to cook us some lovely porridge. The room was very comfortable, the private bathroom was fantastic and the log fire in the lounge was very welcoming on a slightly chilly night. We will be back!
The house is absolutely beautiful, and furnished beautifully. Our room & bath were large and luxurious and very comfy. Sandy & John are very welcoming & helpful. Breakfast delicious and abundant.
n/a Everything was Great!
Our visit to sorbietrees was amazing I would fully recommend this B&B to all our friends and family, you made us feel very welcome the visit was for my husband’s birthday and the stay with you made it extra special we will definitely stay again.
Everything! Took my parents to Scotland during their visit to the UK. Sandy was an amazing host and couldn't do enough for us during our visit. Fabulous comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast from a wide choice of options. Fantastic area!
great B&B lovely hosts great breakfast (I can recommend the full scottish!) beautiful location (house, garden, the surrounding nature) very (!!!) dog friendly
that we didn't stay longer...
Lovely setting, a warm atmosphere, friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast with lots of choice. We would definitely stay there again.
Nothing to dislike.
Everything was superb. Sandy, the proprietor, was the model of helpfulness. She even got up at some ridiculous hour to make my breakfast as I had to leave early.
Nothing. A brilliant B and B.
House, room, private bathroom were really good. Breakfast great too.
a little far out of town which wouldn't have mattered but the town has no taxi service so to vist town to eat you had to drive and therefore could't have a drink.
everything and sandy the owner could not make you more welcome than what she did, the food was out off this world, much better than some 5* places you eat at! the b&b was the best one iv very been to and iv been to loads, over all a 5* b&b,
Lovely house and lovely welcome.
A bit off the beaten track.
We stopped for a night in the family room 15/08/2014 for 1 night. It was such a shame we could not stay for 2 nights. Sandy and John were so very welcoming we felt vey happy. The accomodation was spotless and very well furnished. Breakfast menu had a good variety and was absolutely spot on. We even fed the horses when we had a look around the farm. Will definately stay again as a preference for the area
From the first moment we arrived I felt like I had come home
Nothing ,everything exceeded expectations
Warm welcome and genuine hospitality from Sandy and John - lovely room with all facilities, great home-cooked breakfasts. All in all, highly recommended.
Great place and excellent hosts!
Everything was very satisfactory.
There was nothing to dislike.
Quality throughout, Room, Fixtures, Food and Owners. The description B&B does not due it justice.
Very warm and welcome stay!
the views, the bathroom
bed was a bit soft and worn for us
The location is superb, the owners are really friendly and helpful and the accommodation is fantastic.Imaculatly clean and tidy and so spacious. The cost of my 2 night stay was a fraction of what I would normally pay for similar standard B&B. The food was also way above par, in fact if I have been served up a better breakfast I can't remember when. My stay could not have been better ;0)
Cant imagine anyone using this section for Sorbietrees
Excellent welcome from Sandee, very helpful, booked us a table for an evening meal at a nearby pub. Excellent location to explore Kielder, the Borders and one of the 7 stanes at Newcastleton. Very comfortable stay with an excellent breakfast
One word - fabulous. A bit out of the way but the experience makes up for that. Gorgeously redecorated 17 th century house. Sandie & John live in and own the house and could not have been more welcoming to us. Our room and ensuite were huge, as was breakfast. Peaceful and quiet setting if you are looking for the quintessential English/Scottish country experience.
Sandy and John are a lovely sociable couple and very knowledgeable about local area helping us find local walking routes- which are plentiful in that area. Home from home experience, very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order and sourced from local ingredients. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly home from home.
Just a bit too far from keilder that's all
