Friendly, helpful staff. Like most hotels in Cambridge (apparently) it is slightly pricey. The evening meal was only ordinary but the breakfast was good. |

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. The restaurant/dining room was very pleasant, and the breakfast was small but tasty. Unfortunately we did not get to dine inthe restaurant in the evening as it was reserved for a wedding party on the Saturday and closed on the Sunday of our stay. The rooms are quite noisy as you can hear people walking up and down the stairs and doors banging shut and even conversations taking place in the room next door. |

I had warm welcome and the hotel staff was happy to help with any request. I was not really aware that they do weddings as well. As a result there was a party going on well into the small hours. I had a long trip that day and was really tired. I do not think, the hotel is ideal for business travellers. |

The staff went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I wanted and needed for a comfortable stay. They were so friendly. The shower took too long to warm up and was rather feeble. |

overnight stay with family after attending a 100th birthday lunch in Cambridge. all staff helpful and friendly. excellent cleanliness throughout hotel. excellent evening meal in restaurant and good breakfast with plenty of choice. booked 2 rooms 1 family 1 twin both adequate for a 1 night stay but family bathroom very small. outside appearance of hotel very dull could do with a facelift. woken in twin room at 5 30am by doors slamming and people arguing this went on for an hour. |

pleasant helpful staff, nice breakfast, good spacious room for single, nice decor. I was horrified to find the fire door opposite my room was kept open - it would need to have some planed off the bottom for it to shut. I brought this to the attention of the receptionist and said that I believed it was illegal, but it was like this for both nights. The entrance to the car park needs improving - it has a rather nasty "sleeping policeman" that is bad for the suspension. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room well equipped and comfortable, and the breakfast excellent ( we did not have dinner). It was a cold weekend and the heating in the bedroom was only just adequate; the bathroom was unheated, and very cold. |

It is a little distance from the centre of Cambridge, but parking was available - often not the case here. Good value hotel. It would be nice to have digital TV channels. |

The temperature of the water in the shower could not be regulated, either it was cold or hot. The sound isolation is terrible, as if the entire hotel was made out of paper. Heating was poor, it was almost cold. Second night of my stay, there was a birthday party in the salon, which was directly below my room. Very loud and bad music, was going on until midnight, despite my request to slow it down. |

The staff were helpful. Toilet paper was scarce. The shower was not hot enough. In the restaurant, the steak was over-cooked. |

the bathroom in my room had a jacuzzi and a sauna - which was lovely! compensated for the smaller sizing of the room |

We found the staff helpful and our room was well-equipped. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant. Our room was too small for anything more than one or two nights. |

Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and pleasant When I arrived after a long journey at 18.15, the restaurant was taken over by a private wedding party so, unfortunately, only room service was available. The Central heating system in my room "knocked" for 20 minutes during warm up at 6 am waking me up |
