Lovely Italian family who has been running this hotel for two generations. They make you feel like you're staying in their home. Generous English breakfasts and Italian dinner menu. Located about 15 minutes from Cambridge centre but bus stop close by and railway station about 10 minutes walk. Very hard to find anything reasonable in city centre so this is a good option.

Very friendly staff and comfortable; decent amount of parking and you can walk into the city centre in 30mins. My room had a great looking shower but no water pressure but then this is typical for a budget British hotel

The room was ok The staff were friendly Meagre portions eg breakfast one slice of bacon! evening meals meagre, disappointed as I was really looking to top quality 'family' Italian food. I asked for melon with prosciutto only to be told sorry we've run out of prosciutto. I asked again the following night with same reply, really was it too much trouble to go to aldi's or somewhere during the day and get some. I think that really showed what the hotel was about> The room was cold and radiator stone cold. I bled it and it was fine. So must have been like that for weeks!

Staff went out of their way to be friendly, accommodating, etc. Free parking, free wifi. Close to bus stop with frequent buses into city centre. Allowed early chek-in as room was ready. Slight disturbance from road traffic in front room.

The staff were really helpful and friendly.The food in the restaurant was excellent.It was so close to the city center but not in the heart of it and free parking is a boon! Will definitely book there again when next needing to stay in Cambridge.

very pleasant staff -got us a bowl of soup after restaurant closed nice italian family owned hotel with mamma sitting in lobby watching the action best marquetry collection this side of alps . spacious free car park -was able to leave car there all day even after check out bit further out than i thought -needed cab to get to city centre.address on cherry hinton road hard to find on sat nav -inverse L shape -it is on east west section not north south .
