The conference room boasts an unusual set up. Slightly different from the normal 4 walls, the conference room is airy and ornate, with arches down the centre. The room is fully air conditioned with the latest Dakin air conditioning units, which can be controlled via a remote control to ensure your conference will be as comfortable as possible. The conference room can accommodate 20 delegates in a boardroom-style layout or up to 50 delegates in a theatre-style layout.

Addenbrooke's Hospital is approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the hotel.
The hotel’s convenient location also means it has excellent transport links for those who wish to explore further afield. The close proximity to Cambridge’s ring road means the hotel offers easy access to all of the region’s major roads, including the M11 and A14. Cambridge’s train station is just one mile (1.6 km) away and trains run regularly from the station all around the region; there are regular trains to Norwich and trains also run regularly to London King’s Cross train station, with a journey time of just 45 minutes.

Used for a shopping trip, it was easy to catch a bus into town. Good parking facility. Staff helpful & friendly, food pretty good. Plenty of vegy choices. Although it was clean, the hotel decor is very tired with peeling wallpaper and paint. En-suite needed a re vamp too. |

The food in the restaurant was excellent. Beautifully cooked and presented in a true Italian way, the wine was at the correct temperature but they did not have a second bottle of the same wine! The bed was too hard and slid away from the wall. The bathroom was unheated. The restaurant - although serving good food, was too brightly lit and too harsh (tiled floors, bright lights etc) for an evening meal. No candles, no atmosphere, chilly. |

Truely, a family-run hotel. Authentic Italian decor and good basic facilties. Food was good. Not good value. Five star prices; three star comfort. It served my purposes. |

The cost of food and drink was exhorbitant at the hotel but there was plenty of scope within 10 mins walk. I objected strongly to have to pay £5 per hour to use wifi at the hotel. At £72 per night you would expect to find it included. Would not stay there again. |

It was a nice hotel, very clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel was OK, however the shower was very poor - no pressure and the temperature kept changing from hot to cold. Also the beds were not very comfortable, and the room was often cold because the heating didn't come on. |

A quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room was ok but a better chair to relax in and some more towels and a face wash-cloth would have been appreciated- The reseption staff should know that Sunday is not a day with closed shops in Cambridge - I asked for a pharmacy but he did not belive I would find any open on a Sunday. In town ALL shops were open included the chemist's. Hurra! |

For our purposes it met our needs. The room was a bit cramped for three people.The restaurant offered a good selection for breakfast. A bit inflexible about changing our reservations given that we had to leave earlier because of an unexpected event. |

Generally the ambience was good. I liked the conservatory and the garden. Parking was adequate too. Generally clean. Breakfast was good but we did not have an evening meal. Well situated. Perhaps a little more attention to detail. No biscuits with the tea and coffee in the room. Staff at breakfast were not very attentive. Some of the areas needed cleaning - toast basket at breakfast was dirty and some of the paintwork looked like it needed wiping down. |
