The South Beach  

Had a lovely stay would defently return.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful they helped book us into a restaurant and ordered a taxi for us. The breakfast was buffet style just the way we like is as you get exactly what you want that way. Also the room was nice and warm,and very clean nothing seemed to be a problem to them they were a very organised team . !!

The Room was a little on the small side for us, but we still found it okay.

Everything .Hotel was very clean cosy and welcoming. Staff were great;cheerful, courteous, and had a fun sense of humor . Nothing was to much trouble. Food was equally fantastic . :) we would Definitely return for another visit.

I like the fact that it was right on the front and it was always warm and welcoming.

This is our fourth time at South Beach. Its perfect for location and has everything you want nearby.the owners are very friendly and the buffet breakfast is excellent.they also have free parking right at the front which seems to be a big problem in Blackpool.

Location and staff

Rooms too hot, very hard too sleep, became uncomfortable when radiator came on during the night despite being turned to its lowest. Not much room in en suite.

Very frendly and wellcoming, comfatuble clean and warm with a fantastic breakfast.

Location and price were good, but I believe even better can be found with a bit more effort.

While bedding and towels were clean and fresh, the room was definitely a bit grubby and had not been properly cleaned in what appeared to be a while -- i.e. behind beds and tables.

The location was superb, very handy for the Pleasure Beach and local amenities were good, the staff were also very friendly and excellent, and the buffet breakfast was a big hit!

Our shower wasn't working, and a mattress on the single bed was damaged, however it's not the problems, it's the way they're dealt with, which was very good to be fair.

We have now stayed at the south beach hotel on the last 4 occasions we have gone to blackpool and wouldnt stay in any other hotel. As we find everything we want at the south beach including great location,clean and tidy bedrooms,very friendly owners in sam and angie plus family. Nice wee friendly bar with pool table and machines,relaxing lounge overlooking the irish sea,and last but not least a lovely buffet type breakfast every morning that sets you up nicely for the day ahead.i have no hesitation in recommending the south beach to any family or couple who want to visit blackpool and who are looking for a nice friendly place to stay.

Hotel is without lift and rooms were small but probebly all other hotel were also in the same pattern due to high demand of hotels on the beach side...wifi was not avaibale in room, it require t ocome down to lobby. staff was coperative. location is excellent.

The location was perfect for the pleasure beach. Really enjoyed breakfast. They arranged car parking facilities for us while we went to the pleasure beach.

We were meeting friends from another part of the uk and so the location was key. The accommodation was comfortable and the breakfast good. We may return to Blackpool again later in the year and will not hesitate to use the South Beach again.
