Despite my arriving late in the evening, Peggy was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and the location peaceful, with plenty of room to park my car. Delicious breakfast!

We liked sitting in the garden eating home made chocolate cake and drinking tea with our hosts, Rod and Peggy. Peggy knew everything about the area and advised us on the local places of interest.

The bedroom was a bit small

We wanted to visit the Yorkshire Air Museum so the location was ideal. We were so pleased to be offered a pot of proper tea on arrival, and the breakfast was superb. Thank you for such a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The friendly welcome was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, even finding an iron for me to use. I don't like dogs at all but their two 'beardies' were just gorgeous. Breakfast superb and cooked to order with plenty of delicious pots of Yorkshire tea. Location was excellent with good local knowledge from our hosts, especially the convenience of the Park and Ride which saved us stress and money. Beds were comfy, room was clean, guest lounge is excellent with superb panoramic views of the countryside. Rob and Peggy are already like old friends just from one visit. It's clear why they get so many repeat bookings. We look forward to staying with them again.

My first visit proved to better than I could have imagined. On arrival met hosts Peggy & Rod and their two lovely Old English Sheepdogs. Made to feel very welcome and provided with a pot of tea and a piece of lovely homemade cake which was served in their conservatory. Lovely comfy double room with en suite, tea & coffee facilities and TV. It was like being a guest in their home. Lovely quiet location - great place to unwind. Breakfast was a full English with good quality locally sourced food - guaranteed to set you up for the day. I was sorry to leave!

Having only one night there - must go again for a longer stay!
