Well equipped room, lovely breakfast.
Car park was a bit wet in places.
Our room was a good size and the location was nice and rural
In fairness the owners were away on holiday, but the downstairs areas smelt of dogs and the sanitary arrangements in our room just weren't good enough in 2014. Toilet and sink in one room with a very noisy and smelly saniflow system to pump waste away, and shower in another room that ran from tepid to scorching randomly during ablutions. Tried this as an alternative to big chain hotels, but will be going back to reliability I'm afraid.
The rooms were very spacious, very clean and had everything you need. The breakfast was lovely and hospitality shown was second to none. I cannot fault anything here. This guest house exceeded my expectations I wouldn't hesitate to go back again, infact we will be visiting in the next couple of months.
Bed, breakfast and nice welcome
very warm reception. Fantastic breakfast, lovely room with gorgeous views, generally a big thumbs up!
I liked its modesty and friendliness. Simon & Heather were terrific hosts - solicitous but not intrusive. Both very interesting people. Simon managed gluten-free cooking without batting an eyelid, for which I was very grateful. Good value dinner and breakfast.
One minor gripe - and not their fault - very poor phone reception; mostly, no phone reception. However, more than compensated by free wifi!
Very friendly, nice quiet location. Excellent service
GREAT ROOMS AND THE BREAKFAST JUST SETS YOU UP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY FANTASTIC HOSTS

Scissors on the hosp tray to cut the sachets. Never had this before - so useful and a simple added extra !
