South Park Guest House    

The most polite welcome I have ever received at any Hotel. Attention to detail was wonderful. I and my Husband will definitely be going back. Breakfast was 5*. Great staff.

There wasn't anything I did not like.

The atmosphere was very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at the South Park guest house. The food was excellent for breakfast. There were little touches such as the flowers downstairs and chocolates in the bedrooms. Everything was clean and tidy.

I have stayed in lots of Guest Houses all over the U.K. in my time and never expected to find the most welcoming one in Lincoln of all places. The rooms were sparkling clean, very comfortable and well presented. There were extra subtle small touches such as choice biscuits, mint chocs and different types of brews in the rooms, liquid soap dispensers in the baths, all major daily newspapers in the dining room, sweets everywhere and above all a lovely and very welcoming hostess. She even made me a packed breakfast when I said I wouldn't have time to sit down and eat. I would recommend it to anyone.

The only small, little, downside to this marvellous guest house was that it was about 20 minutes walk from the city centre, but hey for it's price and comfort I wouldn't care if it were 20 miles from the city centre.

Really lovely little b&b. Went there before my interview and was well looked after. Bed was super comfy, room very cosy and warm. Fantastic service. Breakfast was very quick and beautiful. Will be staying again for sure!

Bed was comfortable and facilities were good.

I was charged for my booking at booking.com and charged again at the guest house. Never got a refund. Couldn't sleep in room 5 due to constant dripping sound above my head all night.

We liked the very charming staff, in particular Jacqie who runs the Guest house and lives within the building. Bowls of sweets everywhere! Generous, copious breakfast with just about everything you could wish for. Huge double bed and a single in the room, ensuite bathroom, refubishment room by room is in progress but completely discreet and unobtrusive. Easy 15 mins walk into town. We would return if in Lincoln area.

Latest breakfast at 08:30 (for a leisure visit that is) Brilliant for business folk however! at 06:00hrs or whatever ?

Very nice Bed and Breakfast, the price was excellent. Room was good and the bed was very comfortable. Jackie who runs it is a real Gem, such a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good you could have anything you wanted and more. We would recommend this B & B.

From confirming the booking until the day we left, we were dealt with brilliantly. Jackie was so lovely and helpful. We had a brilliant stay. We took our almost 2 year old son and I worried about how he'd get on, but Jackie was wonderful with him and we all had a peaceful nights sleep and breakfast was delicious. I'd definitely return and highly recommend! Thank you!

This was an excellent guesthouse with very friendly staff. It had lovely decor, including a very nice selection of prints, paintings and photographs decorating the lounge stairway and dining room. The building had been kept in its original Edwardian style (E.G., stained-glass windows).The breakfast was fantastic! I had a very nice room at the rear of the property, which meant to say it was facing away from the road. I prefer quiet rooms. The price was excellent value for money!

It was not in the centre of the city: If you are coming by car the location is fine but I came by train. One had to walk up the long road to get to the place which took about 15 minutes. Not bad really. Of course you could take a taxi.

Jackie and her team were very welcoming during my stay at South Park Guest House recently. Friendly and very helpful in responding to my enquiries about the local area. The room had good facilities and the breakfast was very tasty! Thanks Jackie!

Friendly. Clean and comfortable, especially the beds. Quiet when we were there. Lots of little extras included.

We can't get another room back here for Christmas shopping, it's already full!

Room was big and spacious, king sized bed. Tea & buscuits availabe. Full English breakfast available in the morning. Room was cheap

I came in very late 1am and did not have anybody to receive me. Had to press the bell many many times. I got the keys to an already alloted room and I scared the hell out the occupants of the room when I opened their room door at 1am. Horrible. Could'nt sleep eventually in the room I was finally located as the windows are not sound proof and I could hear the noise of every car passing by. You need ear plugs to sleep in that room. Bathrom was under a loft, so space was tight.

the really friendly jackie, who really made us feel welcome and couldnt do enough for us. We would definately recomend this guest house to anyone and will stay there again.superb breakfast and stay.
