South Park Guest House  

We were welcomed on arrival by Jackie although very busy getting rooms ready, she took the time to take us to our room as I have mobilty issue;s I asked if we could be given a lower floor room we got better than that we got our own little appartment that was round the side of the house away from the rest of the house we had our own keys and was quiet and comfortable.we got up for breakfast next morning again was welcomed by Jackie who had remembered both our christian names and it felt very homely.

could find no fault with this hotel. it was clean and comfortable and if there was anything else that wasn't there you only had to ask

We were looked after very well. Wide variety for breakfast to suit all tastes. Friendly and helpful staff. It was a very enjoyable and pleasant experience. Off road parking.

A excellent b&B. Good value for money and a excellent breakfast.

Security of the rooms could be improved

A brief stay, but a lovely clean and comfortable guest house, I would recommend this place to anyone. Regards Dennis.

We recieved a very warm welcome from the proprietor jackie, she really offers an excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable,especially the beds which were one of the most comfy beds ive ever slept in. Breakfast was very tasty and the southpark on the whole is really good value for money.

Its not a complaint but the guest house is about 20 minutes walk from Lincoln centre so may not be suitable for those who like to be really central,however its only about £4.00 in a taxi to the centre.

no lift. can be 3 flights of stairs

There was a note waiting for us at the door as the landlady was unable to greet us personally which explained everything. There was fresh coffee available in the lounge and lots of other goodies and personal touches. Staff were very friendly, room was clean and comfortable.

The en suite was in the eaves and the bath was not easy to get in and out of. The location was not as close to the centre as we expected although we did find somewhere good to eat and a real ale pub within walking distance on the evening.

Too far to walk into the city centre. You need a taxi.

You could help yourself to tea coffee biscuits etc... whenever you liked. There were also newpapers and magazines left out this was a nice touch.

The smell of stale cooking in the guesthouse was pretty awful and there was no shower in room no. 5 the bathroom was in the attic with the bath under the slant of the room so you had no choice but to sit in the bath. There was no warning of this while booking the guest house if I knew there was no shower or usable shower head over the bath I would not have booked it! Also the guest house was not situated in the best part of Lincoln, it was a 20min walk to the centre.
