great staff, nice position really near 2 tube stations, great restaurant on the top
Electrical Blackout blinds. Double shower. Breakfast
The room itself was so comfy. It was a great size room. They provided us with a card congratulating us on our honeymoon and they gave a truffles with strawberries. We loved the staff! Excellent service to find us a good Resto ! Will definitely be back !
We loved everything
Kort vei til Liverpool Street Station og Shorediche. Fin restaurant.
Hotel had a lovely atmosphere very comsmopolitan. Modern chic rooms food was excellent!
Drinks were very pricey!
Everyone was kind and very helpful. Services were excellent.
The staff! The staff! The staff! So welcoming, friendly, helpful! The room was exceptional! The bed so comfortable. Slept so great in the darkness thanks to the electronic black-out shade. Noise levels were minimal. Location was perfect! Two tube stations were within easy walking distance. It would be nice to have directions from both stations to the hotel in the listing so when one first arrives via the tube it is an easy walk to the hotel. It was in walking distance to so many places and attractions. Restaurants were fabulous. The gym was well-equiped. So close to Shoreditch. It is really a fantastic area that is so different than the financial district. FIND Lounge Lovers for a drink! Insanely over the top and an incredible drink menu!
Some construction noises were a little bothersome in the mornings, but it only persuaded us to get up a little earlier than planned and start our day experiencing all that London has to offer!
Staff gave you 100% attention and were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's bar, restaurant and facilities were of a very high standard. Most importantly of all, the rooms were stylish, clean, comfortable and well equipped.
As several reviewers warned, there was a construction site across the road, but obviously that is out of their hands.
Room comfort and technology, clean and excellent staff who went the extra mile to please
What can I say really, it was perfect.
The location isn't the best there is, and the room service is a bit expensive.
Staff - friendly, welcoming, professional and went the extra mile for a celebration
Friday night in the downstairs bar - the location means it's likely to be full of arrogant, young and annoyingly drunk city boys (one vomited outside the hotel!) which is frustrating when you want a relaxing nightcap before you head upstairs. Nothing the hotel can do about that though!
Atmosphere Design Quality Food
Noise of parasols being put outside in the morning
This is one of if not the best hotel I have stayed at London to date. A very personal, friendly and unique service provided with top quality facilities. The Michelin star angler and roof terrace bar is a must visit. I stay in London regularly always booking 5 star hotels. This is the second time I have visited this hotel and it is quickly becoming my hotel of choice.
Modern rooms Angler restaurant Various bars
Great location and fantastic staff. Paul the Concierge in particular was very helpful. Room was lovely - my son loved the gadgets
Breakfast was expensive
I loved everything about this hotel from the time I stepped in. Proximity to train station. Helpful staff, lovely rooms with immaculate bathrooms! Loved the style. Can't say more. Loved loved loved it.
Great staff, excellent location, modern rooms with all the gadgets working, attention to detail - umbrella, crystal glasses in drawer, media centre, large bath with waterfall shower, great toiletries, comfortable bed and quality bed linen, electric blackout blinds and excellent choice at breakfast.
Upgrade at no request Friendly staff Cleanliness Near to tube station Room service was prompt & helpful, great service
Everything was absolutely wonderful!
Very trendy with attitude but comfortable; staff very considerate; better for business trip than visiting (just from the location perspective) but still quite easy to get everywhere
the pub closes too early!...but that's London's fault, isn't it?
Facilities are excellent, very helpful and friendly staff.
Room looked onto a building site which made it noisy into the evening and then early in the morning. As for a room not facing the work and everything else is excellent.
Fantastically appointed rooms, friendly & helpful staff, wonderful top floor terrace bar, amazing Sunday brunch, comfortable beds, huge bath & the most effective black out blinds I've ever come across!
Clutching at straws really as the place was wonderful, but a swimming pool would have been the icing on the cake.
Comfortable clean and brilliant staff who just wanted to please. Everything in the room you could ever want. I loved the place.
Just the fact We had to come home.
