The owners were very pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome, food was lovely, and the hotel facilities were fantastic, it is also located in a very good area for all the amneties in Blackpool, all within walking distance, and also the lounge in the hotel is perfect for relaxing in the evening. |

Nice and friendly owners. Very comfortable bed and good breakfast. On the whole a pleasant stay despite the weather. Room was a bit on the small side not enough space to relax in |

We liked the fact that it was close to a tram stop and we could come and go as we pleased - owners very hospitable and try to ensure your visit is good which is difficult with a hotel of this age - liked the free WiFi facility as able to pick up e mails on hand held devise. If there is a problem the owners try and sort out at time. Would stay again. The description of the breakfast is not quite accurate as no preserves and you don't get all the mentioned food at each meal - rooms very cramped - if you arrive late no parking. Shower dated and some are dangerous at times if you have a child as the water is not temperature controlled and can come out either cold or boiling due to water pressure. |

Breakfast. The owners were quite abrupt, we didnt like the fact we had to leave a car key behind if we to go out of the hotel. The room was very small and not up to cleanliness standards. The bed was very uncomfortable. The windows were very unclean too. The price was outragous for what we experienced. |

We did not like anything! Staff were ok .. we bboked for 2 nights and paid. But only stopped 1night coz the hotel was that dissapointing we were better off at home! Everything that could possible be wrong with southcrest! Dirty shower room, very small double room size of a store room, the toilet would take 20mins to fill up after being flushed. The hot water system was hot and cold, the room had no lamp or clock. Dirty carpets, bedding was dirty. Very uncomfortable and old fashioned.on the hotel booking site pics show the hotel good but be honest was total rubbish inside and out! No iron/iroining board as stated in reservations they had it available. No soap or shampoo as u would get even in bb anywhere in the country! The hotel should be shut down we would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Your store room is better then this hotel. We paid for 2nights but stayed only 1 night hated it never again! |

We liked that it was right in the middle of everything on the promenade just a short walk away from the fair, tower & the sandcastle water park. |
