Room was comfortable and not too fussy. Good TV. Breakfasts excellent in quantity and quality. Location near city centre easy for walking.

No safe in room. Parking charge sprung on us - £20!

Everything. Better still breakfast was buy one get one free which was brilliant as that saved us 15.50. The room was lovely, bed was really comfortable

Very spacious rooms with good furnishings. Staff were very helpful. The pool was clean, warm and a great option to have as part of our stay. Great hotel location in the city centre.

The price of breakfast was far too high for our liking - it would seem many others have had the same opinion in the past which would explain the voucher offers we were given upon arrival for a 2-for-1 breakfast deal!

As in all Mercure Hotel, any extra is costly (Breakfast: £16/person, Wifi,etc...)

We loved this hotel, staff were very friendly. We had a room upgrade because it was our anniversary so that was fab. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The spa was good, the Gym looked comprehensive although we didn't use it. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Great location to Exeter town centre. Would definitely go again.

The tv didn't work, got woke up buy a cleaner at 8.45am, builders banging, and we paid cash yet was charged twice which has caused us to go into over draft and charged £35!!!! Worst experience ever

Bathroom needed an upgrade. Shower was awkward to use as could not accommodate taller people.

Charming staff at reception and in the restaurant, easy parking, quiet bedroom despite the central location, excellent views from our bedroom (3rd floor, overlooking the cathedral), comfortable bed and excellent breakfast

Location next to shops and places of interest in Exeter. The premium room was well equipped and in good condition.

At breakfast, the coffee pots did not pour easily and the pepper pots were blocked.
