Breakfast Not Too Bad!
Noisey Load Of Workmen Staying There.Talking In Back Yard Till Early Hours!
Breakfast is good.
The staff was talking and laughing till 2am and my room was noise-filled. I could not fall asleep!
value for money, and free parking.
I did like to find this hotel when everything else was booked.
cleanliness of the room and the staff comfort decoration
Chef a gentleman and very helpful
Pillows not good
Good value. Tasty traditonal breakfast.
Cheap stay with Breakfast
Room is very old fashioned and needs to be decorated
Very dated shabby de-core. Old fashioned in desperate need off a face lift. Facilities very old and basic. Room very small with damaged furniture.
Ceiling had fallen in, and had just been repaired, room was dirty, shower left much to be desired, and mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.
We had everything you need in a b+b large room, clean bed, clean bathroom and even a patio door for us to step right outside with the dog. Breakfast was what you'd expect for English breakfast, slightly greasy but that's how we like it:) could of been bigger but still didn't leave you hungry
Was not enough tables for breakfast so some people has to wait. Apart from that we have no complaints and would stay again for that price
Staff friendly and welcoming, good advice of where to eat. Good directions to car park.
The guesthouse is in need of refurbishment
Comfortable place to sleep, good breakfast, good value for money
Beds were on the small side, tiny tv, no heating during afternoon/evening
was dirty, light bulbs not working wallpaper hanging off the ceiling. showers very dirty, no heating rooms cold and damp.
It is convenient for town, I stayed there previously about 5 years ago and was ok then, has changed owners since. There was group of 3 staying on this occasion.
Very run down room, at breakfast was greeted by chef standing like a statue, only to find 3 tables that all had previous guests used dishes, he said "I didn't realise it was so busy" 5 minutes later one of the tables was cleared for us. My friend asked could he have mushrooms instead of tomatoes, the reply from 'chef' was "there's not much call for mushrooms, the tins don't keep" (a bizarre answer) I do believe it's possible to obtain fresh mushrooms, and tins will keep for years if not pierced. Chef come waiter appeared like he wanted to be somewhere else, like bed perhaps.
Room very shabby and uncomfortable beds.
tired décor, uncomfortable bed, leaking basin, smelly toilet.
towels and sheets were clean
decor needs attention cleaner would be helpful
Friendly welcome; good sheets.
Dirty room; breakfast was very second rate; never did get the wifi to work; on site parking was not sufficient for all the guests; didn't see a conservatory - do they mean that part of the dining room?Free newspapers? What's that all about?
Poorly decorated and bath was very ugly looking and family unfriendly. One of the bed's mattress was pathetic and felt like sleeping over a spring. The chef seems to be very lazy to cook and serves in piece meal style.. will never ever stay here.
Very poor cleaning, very poor breakfast and staff not very helpful.
beds comfortable,towels and linen clean
room not what we paid for. poor decorative state. signs of damp and mould in room and en suite, wall and ceilling paper peeling, the one member of staff we did meet was not very welcoming.
Close to town.
Tv did not work properly. outdated. not enough care given to the appearance of the b and b.
