The kiddies entertainment is very good. My grandchildren aged 2 & 5 really enjoyed it. The staff we came across were very friendly. The chalet looked clean when we first walked in but the skirting boards were thick in dust. The swimming pool side was very dirty. The green floor covering was disgusting. The surface in the small pool was loose. The older kids were running around splashing all the little ones & the lifeguards never stopped them. The same happened in the playground with the older kids playing on the little ones swings/climbers. We hired a bike which was wet through & had to find someone to dry the seats so we could use it.

The kids loved it and was reasonably priced great location There was an event on which we didn't know and on the second night nothing for the little ones to do we complained along with others but still nothing done sat in a lounge area no music kids bored!! They should have been more aware of others that where staying and not just the event as we would of booked again but this has put us off.

The Staff tried their best but the resort is very dated and they are understaffed. Very dissapointed!! The chalets were very basic (which we expected) but don't appear to have been modernised in the last thirty years. Many of the so called attractions were closed or not working or taped off for maintenance. The ones that were working were all at an extra cost. We ended up taking our 2 year old Grandson into Southport itself because there was more for him to do and it was cleaner. Also very annoyed at the price we paid, my Sister in law and her family came to stay for one night and only paid £35 for the night (we paid £75 per night!!) also got talking to other guests who also only paid £35 and in one case only £30. We are left feeling thoroughly ripped off!! There are also other issues that we are going to complain directly to Pontins about. (Such as the flea bites, no bed linen or electricity provided even though we had apparently pre paid for them).

Staff were friendly. Although paid for in booking bed linen was not supplied and we were given 1 pillow between 4 of us. It took me a long long time to resolve this. Apparently it is their policy not to supply towels but we were not informed of this on any of our booking information or literature. We were initially charged for electricity which was covered in our booking and although again that was eventually refunded it took me a long time. While staff were friendly I had to continually speak to different people and each one tried to convince me I was wrong even though I kept pointing to the relevant bit of our booking form. It took a long time to find the right person to deal with each issue which is hard work when you have 2 small and tired children. They are clearly not set up for an overnight stay which is obviously a market they are trying to move into.

Nothing at all apart from it has a good location to the beach and a short drive to Southport main centre. I have to point out that the staff were very nice to us especially the man who took us to the room and brought us the ramp for the wheel chair. The dirty shabby room with windows you could not see out of,crumbs of food all over the work top and chocolate rubbed into the sofa, the floor was dirty too, with no matching furniture and no utensils, this was the first room they gve us They then gave us another chalet, which had been cleaned but had no bedding no pans no tin opener and various other cooking equipment, and the radiator in the bedroom was hanging off. the caretker who had been very nice to us, had it fixed back on.When he brought a set of pans to us I was able to make something to eat. Whilst I was cooking my daughter noticed that the radiator in the bedroom that had just been fixed was not working. I am sorry to say that as we sat round eating we decided to return home and forfit the holiday. I would rather be in the comfort of our own home than spend even one night, in this drab unkept shabby chalet.Earlier I did speak to this man who helped us try to settle in and he told me that pontins had been taken over, and 500 of the chalet's had been refurbished, I was going to ask him for one of the refurbished chalets until he told me I was standing in one. That says it all. I am no snob, believe me, but I felt I had stepped back 40 years and if the new owners think that it is just a lick of paint that this place needs they are very mistaken.

The chalet was well equiped, clean and modern and close to main facilities. We were unable to go into the club, which was the reason for booking an overnight stay, so as we could enjoy the disco and cabaret until late. However, we were not allowed in as we did not have armbands! we had not been informed by staff on check-in that we needed to purchase armbands in order to use club, nor was this indicated anywhere in the booking form or the website. We spent a miserable couple of hours in the bar which had no entertainment.

The chalet was very clean and warm. Staff were very helpful. Not too far to travel from home with young kids in the car. I took my one year old grand daughter and there wasn't much for her to do. I would have liked to see a soft play area. There was not even a baby swing in the park.

all amenities are on site to enjoy a short stay, also the all you can eat breakfast was worth the money and the room was clean and warm ,overall very happy. the only thing was with it being late November, most of the bars, were closed on the night bar one as there were not many visitors staying there, but they did have karaoke and disco on to keep you entertained.

Cheap basic accomodation. Not enough facilities for the amount of guests. Having to wait over half an hour for fish & chips. Not enough seats & tables in the entertainment room. Too many machines in the arcade not working. I would recommend this resort to others but pre warn them not to expect too much & prepare to queue for everything !

The staff where very rude and intimidating when I tried to voice my concerns I am seeking a full refund on the price I paid for this so called holiday and maybe even componsation!! Also me and my daughter have been ill with a bug from the last night of the holiday I believe it due to the un hygienic conditions Nothing atall I am disgusted with the entire holiday and very upset that my to young children had to endure such disgusting filthy conditions... The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Convenient to the beach and south-port. That you have to Que and put a £20 deposit for bed linen!!! No electricity in the apartment when we arrived!!! Also the room previously had a leak in the roof and there was a patch of flaky paint over the pull out bed/ couch in the main sitting area not very nice.

Coms fault not theres. the staff were ignorant and did not try to resolve the problem There was a druken fight in the club and my Grandson of 8 months nearlly got hurt when Security grabbed a man and shoved him out of the door, barging into my Daughter who was holding my Grandson.
