Mina who owned it was very welcoming.Breakfast itself was very good although found the room strange, also the parking was sorted but was inconvient at 10.30 at night. The toilet was a saniflow so was very noisey. The decorations were very tiered. The breakfast room was obviously there family room as was full of family photos and felt strange. They had run out of parking permits which had to be purchased so had to take car down the road to another b&b.

A clean and friendly B&B, staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. A little detail needed in the shower room, whilst haveing a shower the shower head came away from the hose, alson the cold water tap in the sink produced hot water and took a while to run cold.

Hosts were very welcoming. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. Small bathroom - but adequate and spotless. Breakfast was really good. The whole place had a lovely gentle feel about it. Loved it! Would have no hesitation to book again when in that area and would certainly encourage others to use it! The sausages?!

This is a nice friendly bed and breakfast. The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay again. We did hear some doors banging now and again possibly from other guests.

The welcome, the help with directions etc. We found The Southsea Lodge ideal for our visit to the Historic Dockyard. The great breakfast also set us up for our day out. For the money there was nothing to dislike !

Warm and friendly, this was your typical English bed and breakfast, perfect for a one night stopover Shower room was extremely small, and things seemed to make strange loud noises! But the rooms don't have space for anything larger.

I liked the friendliness of the landlady. On arrival and going down to breakfast she was there to greet you straight away. Good breakfast. Provided a permit for parking.

The staff were very friendly. Hotel situated in a good area near amenities. Lovely breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. Parking outside at £2 per day. The advert described the room as en-suite but the bathroom was separate, although I had the only key, which was good.
