Het bed was zo klein dat mijn partner op de grond heeft geslapen , de kamer zou 20 m2 zijn , maar was slechts 9m2!!! Herrie op straat was niet normaal , geen parkeer plaats bij hotel , maar een eind verderop voor 5 pond !. kamer was verstikkend klein en bijna onmogelijk om je te douchen en van het toilet gebruik te maken ! in 1 woord verschrikkelijk !The bed was only 1 meter wide, You could not sleep with 2 persons in it !!! One of us had too sleep on the floor , en the shower en toilet where so small that it was almost impossible to use them!! No free parking in the neighbourhood.. Awfull!!!!

Lack of parking but they did have a couple of spaces of which I called to reserve one,but most of the properties in the area are the same.

Stayed 1 night at the South View Hotel.. Had a pleasant stay clean & comfortable. Very friendly owners.Breakfast was excellent.

The whole hotel was a throwback to the 70's, we had what was supposed to be a quadruple room for 2 adults and 2 children. It was 2 double beds thown into a room the size of a prison cell. The breakfast was 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg half a tomato and some beans with a slimy undercooked hash brown. You weren't even trusted to haveyour own coffee. It felt like you were doing wrong when asking for another coffee for breakfast

The staff were very friendly, customer service was excellent. The TV in our room didn't work and it was replaced straight away, nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was great, good location. We would stay here again for sure.

The fact that it was a typical Blackpool B & B, chintzy, clean, with sheets. Perfect. The breakfast was just fabulous. We also left something in the room, I e mailed the Southview, and Bridget got back to me and offered to send us the object back the next day, brilliant :)

good reliable service and a friendly reception from the owners check in and out was really professionally handled and overall happy with the service we received

being allocated a room on the top floor was a disappointment if i was aware of the stairs we would not have booked

Very friendly service from the lady in charge and the breakfast, which was served in a friendly and efficient manner, was excellent. We booked the day before for one night and got the last en suite double room available. It was fairly small but spotless with clean towels, a TV and tea making facilities. The hotel is situated beside the Winter Gardens and is therefore close to the town centre & tower and there is a public car park a minutes walk away. The parking restrictions on the majority of the streets surrounding the hotel end at 5pm on a Saturday and the maximum charge is £1.50 for 90 minutes so if you can find a space from 3.30pm onwards on a Saturday you can park for free from 5pm until 8am on the Monday. We would certainly stay at the Southview again.

Very friendly landlady. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Room decor was very dated and as we had familyroom on top floor, many flights of stairs to climb. No good if you have mobility problems.

just the showers they are not suitable for disabled or anyone over about 12 stone no hand rails quite slippy
