The guest house was perfect for a relaxing romantic break,cleanliness and food was excellent. The pool was just right for a quick dip although we were lucky that we had the facility to ourselves. Excellent restaurant within a few minutes walk. |

The indoor pool was very good and easily accessible. The breakfast was included and very substantial. It was a very good location in Windermere but it is not on the lakeside, but a couple of kilometeres up the hill. |

We wanted somewhere comfortable and clean, friendly and close to restaurants where we could have a chill out weekend which was hassle free and away from all our responsibilities at home. Southview was all those and more. The weather was pretty grim but that didn't matter as we were made so welcome especially by Phil who was a fantastic host and stayed up late even when he had to get up the next day! We'll definately be going back for another chill out weekend next Feb! |

The location within the town was very good, the swimming pool was a lovely feature although a bit small, good breakfast, very nice staff Parking was very tight, owner very money focussed, you pay for towels, gowns etc when using the pool, a lot of rules. A bit pricey for a guest house |

phil and richard are wonderful hosts and we cant wait to go back in october. southview is a warm welcoming place and it has a great ambience about it. The swimming pool was lovely and everything about our stay was truly wonderful. thankyou suzanne (newmarket) . |

Very warm welcome all needs catered for good information in room on resort facillities excellent room very well decorated all needs covered even had ironing board. Very comfortable dining area for breakfast very well organised professional service and good choice. Excellent pool gowns towels and slippers provied if required. Also small reception lounge where drinks or coffee available. Could not fault this hotel. Would definately return. |

Breakfast was very good. Parkking is very limited, have to double park and leave keys with reception as will block other residents in in half the spaces. We didn't use the pool, but if you do, there will be a charge for the extra towels. |
