The price for a new year package
No atmosphere in restaurant-suggest background music
Friendly and helpful staff.
Could hear showers going to early in morning.
Location, the food.
Had to change rooms because of the state of the bed.The mattress wasn't very clean and worn out. The second room was a lot better. The staff were very helpful with the change of rooms. This would not put us off staying again.
I stayed hear with my two children and my mother in law great place to stay plenty for children to do so clean staff are great cannot do enough for u I would stay there agaim
Facilities were brilliant Clean and tidy comfortable beds
Hotel exterior is very high end Interior is well maintained Plenty of seating Rooms a good size
Lumpy mattresses you can feel every spring on Flat hard pillows Thin but dense duvet 100's of geese outside that keep you up late and wake you up early.
service was very good. food was of good quality and very tasty.
Although our table was booked for 6.30 p.m. we found that although the food was good, and we enjoyed our meal to some degree. it could have been hotter.
our room was excellent
quality of some guests and their behaviour was disappointing
Not been to skeggy for a couple of years but was a regular before as kids enjoy it. Always try to stay somewhere different for the experience. Must say this is easily the best place in skegness so far and well worth the 1.5 mike travel which is easy to find. Breakfast is a buffet type which is also great. Will definitely be staying here again next time. I have found the best place in skegness finally all with a beautiful view.
The whole package
We only stayed in the hotel for one night - good room and good breakfast We went on to stay in a caravan
Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast constantly replenished and evening meal was ample.
Outside the hotel there ducks and had difficulty avoiding the poo when going to our car.Fountain starts at 6 am ,which is an early wake up call. Be careful of the non slip bath mats as ours didn't stick and I slipped and fell I reported it was told it would be replaced but still didn't hold properly!
Lovely room and good facilities if weather bad
No bath robes - a little lacking in atmosphere in the hotel
Friendly staff and good facilities
House keeping wasn't brilliant.
The standard was very good, the rooms were very clean. above all the staff were excellent always polite and very helpful the meals were also excellent over all a enjoyable experience
TV on the BBC channel kept going off a little disappointing when interested in a programme. Noise from wedding guests late at night
Excellent grounds and location staff could not do enough for us this was the 2nd time we have stayed here and there will definitely be a 3rd and 4th
Near to Skegness but far enough away to relax
Restaurant could do better
Staff always very helpful and polite. Late checkout, (11am) so no mad rushing around. Nice and relaxing guest lounge area.
We have used this hotel many times and found the bathroom to be a lot smaller than in other rooms we have occupied. The toilet was too close to the wall and had a towel rail above it, and the door stop on the floor you kept catching your feet on it.. It just needs sorting out and it will be fine...but that's our moan.
The Penthouse suite was amazing but very pricey. The view was great over the lakes, we would stay here again as it was luxorious and the king size 4 poster was to die for.
We could not use the swimming pool and should have been told this when booking, we also had to be at the restaurant and booked in by 8:45 pm which we thought was a bit early and the bar restaurant was not open so had to eat in the main expensive restaurant and was not made aware of this either.
facilities good. good room size. plesant lounge.
traffic parking right up to room window, people standing smoking and talking outside window from meeting next door during breaks sink blocked on arrival, iron not working.
Location childrens park nice room
Room was really comfortable. Staff were all lovely. Food was tasty.
Not able to charge devices while you are out of the room. Pool changing area tiny and a bit dirty.
Very clean high standard of service
