A very comfortable hotel, in a good location. A nice lounge,bar area,and spacious bedrooms.

We stayed two nights at this hotel.First impressions were very good,however staff didn't appear to go out of their way to be pleasant. The first full day in the hotel we expected maid service, which is the norm,but on returning to our room in the afternoon,we saw that our room hadn,t been touched. On going to reception,and telling the receptionist this,I was told "Sorry". No explanation,no offers of maid service and not a smile to be had.A Shame as this spoiled what seemed to be a perfect place to stay.

Big wedding in the reception area, we felt a bit rude walking through the wedding party

The location and ease of checking in and out. Also found the facilies on the site to be excellent

Having an adjoining door (room 242) to the next room which resulted in hearing excessive noise from the next room

I loved the fact that we got a room looking over the lakes, also had breakfast in our room which came on time and was delioious, all in all had a really pleasant stay, returning in July, they also have great entertainment.

I really couldn't fault this hotel or its staff. I've stayed in many places in Skegness and this is by far the best. Large, clean comfy rooms, great staff and enormous breakfasts. It's excellent value.

There's nothing not to like.

As a hotel resident you get access to the park resorts entertainment, which was first class!!

we didn't like the fact the water was off the sunday 21/04/2013 morning as we couldn't wash before we left the hotel.

Rooms were clean and it was a modern hotel with pool, and spa facilities. I was impressed when I arrived in the car park and until I got in the lift/ corridors. Breakfast staff were very attentive and were mature staff with experience in hospitality. The bedroom was very clean and was cleaned daily.

The hotel was clean but the lift and corridors let it down where it was evident that more attention to cleaning was required. The food served was awful in the evening, the Rump steak on Sun evening was fatty and of poor quality, another resident who had ordered the roast of the day said her dinner was disgusting, I also stayed on the Mon and Tues nights booked by employer and the scampi on the Mon was very good but the Tikka Masala on the Tues was awful. I have enjoyed cheaper frozen meals much more!! (Not sure re lunch) Breakfast was acceptable, the bacon was of decent quality, I did not try the sausage, beans, mushroom, the tomatoes were mashed and tasted as if vinegar had been added, the fried eggs were lovely but unfortunately if you did not like the eggs fried and sunny side up there were no other options, the fried bread was very tough/hard and I went for breakfast at 07.15 so I would dread to think how it was later in the morning. The staff were friendly but for a 4 star hotel I would expect staff at reception and also waiting staff (evening) to be more professional and not quite so "friendly" although a more mature member of staff who served me one evening was excellent... Perhaps the management need to think that less mature staff serve lunches and those who are mature and serve well with finer niceties take leadership of those less mature and with more "common and too familiar attitudes".

We had a deal which made it reasonably priced for one night's bed and breakfast. The bed was comfortable but only a double. It is in a lovely setting.

Where to start! The staff did not seem to be trained in good customer relations.The hotel is not a 4star in fact it seems quite down market. The bed base had no covering and was badly stained (not good). The meal in the orangery was the most disgusting I have ever been served. I could not cut the 'beef' let alone eat it and the man near us said his steak was awful. Do not eat there! The nearby leisure centre bar and restaurant food looked ok. Eat there.

Don't sell fizz by the glass and seemed to think it an outrageous question; most machines in gym out of order; tv remote missing but provided quickly; one set of pillows missing but provided quickly

was no water in morning off leaving had no shower and no clean teeth was bit upset with this as had long drive home

room was well appointed and overlooking A lake

Rooms were very clean, receptionist very friendly, and the breakfast was very good. Ideal placement for visiting other areas around Skegness

The look of the hotel was stunning. The rooms are very big and comfy The staff very friendly. excellent food. good bar to relax in and good prices. good room rates. ideal location. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
