The hotel is modern, clean, and unfussy, and the staff are friendly and customer focused, extra towels and water etc is available if requested, and this is attended to efficiently. It is south bank and great for eateries, bars, wine bars and sightseeing, as the tube is handy you can also get around London from London Bridge station. It feels safe walking around at night and there's many bistro type bars/tapas and even takeaways, all local to the hotel. Located really close to The Globe and the bar is clean bright and comfy, with large flat screen sky TV and fair bar prices. The breakfast was fresh and on a help yourself basis, really nice. Lastly, Great shower in a really clean bathroom. The breakfast advertised on booking.com did not clarify that the inclusive breakfast was to be only continental, (it does now state it's continental) and that you have to pay extra by means of an upgrade to get the full English, however, the hotels own website does now clarify this, sadly this was not the case when we booked, and I feel a bit tricked, not the end of the world, but not the transparency I would expect. The rooms are modern and clean but small and a bit claustrophobic if staying more than one night.

Staff are helpful. The hotel room is spacious, tidy and clean. Free wifi, quite fast. Convenient location with nearby tube and supermarket. No public cooking equipment, can't buy food in supermarket then heat it in hotel. No refrigerator in hotel room.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on the 6th of June. We found the hotel with great ease. We were welcomed by reception and checked in and told everything we needed to know. We made our way upto our room, on which entering was clean and a fair size. Looking out the window we saw offices but that wasnt a problem as we werent there to sit and look out of it. We had a lovely nights sleep and enjoyed breakfast which was included. I thought the price was fairly expensive as we only used it to sleep in, but then it is London and compared to other hotels it is very much so value for money!! No complaints. 5 mins walk to London Dungeons and Tower Bridge and Tower of London. 2 min walk for Southwark Tube station.

This is the third time we have stayed at the hotel and find it very clean and staff are very helpfull and polite. Well situated for walking into covent garden and theatre land.Borough market just round the corner always worth a visit. There is a little traffic noise, but only to be expected due to location. We arrived back late from theatre and no snacks were available. Very kind barman managed to raid the kitchen for cheese and bicsuits.

The hotel surpassed my expectations. It was excellent value for central London and, just as importantly, the room was stylish, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and keen to help, the breakfast was sumptuous in the top-floor restaurant with rooftop views (don't bother with the upgrade to Full English - the continental option includes eggs, ham, pastries etc) and there was a £8.95 dinner deal that included a drink. The Tate Modern is a 5-min walk away, and the Chocolate Factory theatre is opposite. Also v close to the splendid Borough Market. We shall return with bicycles which can be stored inside the hotel. The car park costs a lot (£25 per 24 hrs) but is operated by a different company and that's what you pay to take a car into central London (we were on a longer trip). The hotel is in the Congestion Charging zone so you pay that too!

The hotel was clean comfortable and lovely. The included breakfast was tasty. The hotel was easily w/in walking distance to many attractions it was also easy to catch a train from the hotel. They overcharged me for the room, I had to spend 45 minutes arguing with the hotel clerk even w/ produced documents before my bill was amended.
