Location was good for train from Gatwick and my morning meeting. Hotel was what you'd expect from Ibis Styles--efficient, comfortable, functional, at a decent price. I've never had a bad experience with Ibis.
Location would not be good for the typical visitors' theater-museum circuit.
Excellent location, we like walking and so we walked everywhere with no problem. We also had a superb view from our bedroom of the Shard, but the rooms on the other side of the corridor aren't so lucky.Good choice at breakfast, car park (additional cost)
I think it is a little pricey, but perhaps that's the going rate for the location
Room was very hot and a/c didn't cool things down especially the bathroom.
Its right on the south bank
No cooked breakfast
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, location.
Breakfast a little busy, waited for items to be replenished both days, but breakfast was good.
the staff were very welcoming and freindly as gave directions to room and the times of breakfast etc..offered to take pics of me and my partner i thought was very nice..room was very clean and comfy bed..the bar and reception area were decorated very nicely..i would stay here again.
Location and continental breakfast good
Small rooms; have to ask to have towels changed
Location was perfect, we loved being in a different location as got to see other sights that we would of missed, such as bourough market, London Bridge & the shard. Hotel was very modern, clean & friendly. The continental breakfast was great & set us up for the day. We would recommend this hotel & stay here again.
Location Clean Friendly staff
No bath, just a shower
Great location - handy for O2 (purpose of visit) stone' s throw to Globe Theatre, Tate modern, Borough Market. No-fuss but comfortable room of decent size, pleasant decor and lighting, all the facilities you really need. Room was quiet as faced car park and well insulated so no noise from other guests. Staff helpful and approachable. Inclusive breakfast buffet of a good standard and long serving hours. Good value for money (well, by London standards)
Nothing I can think of. The wifi connection in the room was a bit slow and unreliable according to the friend I shared the room with.
Wi-fi. Good sound-proofing and shade to block light. Room layout very efficient. Short, safe walk to Vinopolis, Tate Modern, Globe Theatre. Restaurant food excellent and quick. Service excellent. Thermostat control easy to use and responsive.
Location Staff Cleanliness
No scrambled eggs for breakfast
near to the office - Quite and had a good nights sleep
Breakfast was poor - not enough staff on to help replenish food or cutlery /cups etc. Rooms very basic
Location- we could walk to the Tate modern, go running by the River Stylish . modern and clean but still affordable Decent all you can eat breakfast
We were on floor 1 and it could be noisey especially with the window open! Bar was very small and quiet
I liked this hotel to return many times Great value in a great location
Breakfast was a little boring, but not a deal breaker.
Good, absolutely matching expectations as a business traveler looking for a decent 3 star hotel.
No warm breakfast.
The room was a really fair size for the price, the restaurant was really good and the food was good quality for the price. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was located in a great place for our stay.
The heating in our room broke so that resourted us to having an extra douvet. The restaurant service on the second night was quite slow but the food was still good.
Rooms were ok
Asked for extra pillow twice did not get one. Ordered toastie took an hour and was not toasted properly. Bar staff had not got a clue what they were doing. No change in tills 3 times they had to get change and not many people in bar. There is a small sign in window saying Ibis we went past the hotel twice need much better signage. Wardrobe in room was a bit small if you were staying any length of time.
Staff very friendly and helpfull and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs.
Reception Staff were friendly and helpful. Quite and very good location.
Room was very small
Clean, friendly, well presented with helpful staff. This hotel is ideal if visiting the Shard and Tower.
Tube fares can be a bit pricey if visiting other sites of London
breakfast...no hot food available..a bit disappointed
We Always stay at Southwark Rose Hotel. Excllent location, always a friendly welcome and excellent value for money.
