This Novotel has a rooftop leisure suite with gym, sauna and steam room. In London’s South Bank, guests are a 5 minute walk from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern.

The staff were very helpful and the food was good.Overall experience was good.
Poor nights sleep due to noise from the traffic as our room was street side. Not very good sound insulation. The taxis firm recommended was poor.A return journey from the Royal Albert hall was arranged but when we arrived at the hall the driver informed us he was finished for the night so we should get a black cab for our return journey.
clean, well located
very small room
Very near the southbank -the Globe, Tate Modern etc. well equipped room, pretty good breakfast buffet.
A bit noisy from traffic etc
No warm hot/cooked food for breakfast. E.g bacon and eggs
staff, location, quiet neibourhoud, quality of seep, Wi-Fi, good transport conectiones
too small room, absence of fridge
Close to market
One power point in room. No fridge. Just not good enough
Comfortable and close to south bank
Did not like I had to pay extra for full English breakfast that was not made clear at booking ?
Location, so easy to walk to Globe Theatre
Lack of space within room and little shelf space in shower room
Everything about this hotel was lovely, the staff were excellent, the location was perfect and breakfast was very enjoyable. But nothing ruins a trip like a terrible night's sleep ... or not in this case
We had twin beds in the room that were so narrow you would fall out during the night. Each bed was not just hard but had tough wire ridges designed to prevent any sleeping ! Loved the hotel, but was felt ripped off on a two night stay with no sleep.
Location is great -we could walk to the Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, The Shard, Globe Theatre just to mention a few.
Close to a tube station. Breakfast was a buffet of cold items but were fresh. Not far from an open air market and pubs. Clean.
Bed was a little hard for me.
clean, comfortable, close to the station and the historic city center
price analysis, the hotel did not match up with the price of booking
Really friendly, helpful staff. Bar area comfortable with a good restful atmosphere. Simple door keys, easy to use and reliable. Good location for The Globe, Borough Market etc. Would recommend.
Would have enjoyed something hot on the buffet breakfast and better coffee.
Close to City and Globe. We'll situated at a modest price for London.
staff, breakfast, location
Friendly staff, location (5 min walk to London Bridge Underground), very quiet during the night, decent breakfast, clean rooms.
No socket adaptor available, thank God for the small shop around the corner. Only one socket in the room, not nearly enough to charge mobile phones, laptop, camera bateries...
Staff very helpful. Room very clean. Excellent facilities. We were visiting Tate Modern exhibition and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre which were only a few minutes from the hotel so very conveniently located.
I like there services. Very friendly and easy to talk to.
Excellent staff. First rate cleanliness. Easy access to nearby Tube. Quite a quiet location for Central London. We had to visit Guy's hospital which is only 7 minutes easy walk away, and I recommend this hotel to anyone needing to visit Guy's. We will be back. A very comfortable stay !.
We had fish and chips for supper -.but we didn't enjoy them. Frozen cod in a hard batter and tough oven chips are not what you would expect in a Hotel of this quality, and why on earth did you cover boiled frozen peas in Olive oil ? UGH! _ --the Breakfast was good though !
Good breakfast with a range of cold plates. The hotel is situated not far from the Borough-market and the City. Funny color shower (the shower head changes color when you use it)
Air-conditioning is very poor, it is central, and you can't make it any colder. When it is 30C outside (yeah, in London can be THAT hot), you can't get a comfort temperature in your room. The hotel itself is too expensive. It is not central, it is not very near the tube station, it is not very comfortable... Usually Ibis is a good value for money. This is not the case
Very clean and a very quiet room. Nicely decorated. Felt secure.
Not enough staff at breakfast. No glasses or plates on Friday morning (25/7).
breakfast was good, and plenty available. Bed was comfortable and good shower. Also air con was good
could have done with a hand towel in bathroom
The room was very effectively set out using its space to the best possible advantage.thought the lay out of the bathroom was particularly neat as was the idea of the socket in the safe.
Air conditioning was a bit noisy to have on all night.
breakfast was ok but dut disappointed it was not a english cooked
