Location Staff Cleanliness
No scrambled eggs for breakfast
near to the office - Quite and had a good nights sleep
Breakfast was poor - not enough staff on to help replenish food or cutlery /cups etc. Rooms very basic
Location- we could walk to the Tate modern, go running by the River Stylish . modern and clean but still affordable Decent all you can eat breakfast
We were on floor 1 and it could be noisey especially with the window open! Bar was very small and quiet
I liked this hotel to return many times Great value in a great location
Breakfast was a little boring, but not a deal breaker.
Good, absolutely matching expectations as a business traveler looking for a decent 3 star hotel.
No warm breakfast.
The room was a really fair size for the price, the restaurant was really good and the food was good quality for the price. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was located in a great place for our stay.
The heating in our room broke so that resourted us to having an extra douvet. The restaurant service on the second night was quite slow but the food was still good.
Rooms were ok
Asked for extra pillow twice did not get one. Ordered toastie took an hour and was not toasted properly. Bar staff had not got a clue what they were doing. No change in tills 3 times they had to get change and not many people in bar. There is a small sign in window saying Ibis we went past the hotel twice need much better signage. Wardrobe in room was a bit small if you were staying any length of time.
Staff very friendly and helpfull and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs.
Reception Staff were friendly and helpful. Quite and very good location.
Room was very small
Clean, friendly, well presented with helpful staff. This hotel is ideal if visiting the Shard and Tower.
Tube fares can be a bit pricey if visiting other sites of London
breakfast...no hot food available..a bit disappointed
We Always stay at Southwark Rose Hotel. Excllent location, always a friendly welcome and excellent value for money.
this hotel is situated in a great location with Borough Market, the Shard, the Left Bank, St Pauls and the Tower all within about 10 mins walk. great friendly feel to the area, parking reasonable for central london, lots of eating choices
Location and quietness
Very expensive for the service provided
Good location for major Southbank attractions and City of London. Good buffet breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Having asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel, I was kept awake by a group of people (staff?) talking outside under the window at about 2-3am!
Easy-going, nice friendly staff, got extension for 2 PM on checkout for departure, reasonable breakfast, EXCELLENT location :)
Electricity blackout at 3-8 AM on one night. Manager cleared the problem, thanks for him. Night staff was lost when faced this problem. WiFi was not optimal, very slow for today's standards. Toilets did not really flush in rooms or public toilets, so maybe more water to be used in futurere?
1. Wifi Comments; Billing transactions was confusion!
beds very comfortable staff always helpful
food very expensive but good no room service some staff not understanding English well;some misunderstanding.
Brilliant breakfast - they even had soya milk! Great view of the Shard
Wifi not good Breakfast not good
Rooms were comfortable and bed was nice
Staff were rude and the service was atrocious. Would never stay in Ibis again.
