Good location for major Southbank attractions and City of London. Good buffet breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Having asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel, I was kept awake by a group of people (staff?) talking outside under the window at about 2-3am!
Brilliant breakfast - they even had soya milk! Great view of the Shard
Wifi not good Breakfast not good
Rooms were comfortable and bed was nice
Staff were rude and the service was atrocious. Would never stay in Ibis again.
This was my first time here and I stayed 3 nights. My room was comfortable and I always got a good night's sleep. I would recommend a room on, at least, the 3rd or 4th floor. The breakfast area was welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food buffet had a good variety of chioce and quality.
I can't understand why in this day and age a hotel from a big chain like Ibis has the hairdryer under the desk in the bedroom instead of the bathroom. A shaving mirror in the bathroom would also have been useful too. I have an issue regarding the check out. I appreciate that when you book the hotel the hotelier has the right to charge your Credit card immediately even though you booked in advance. Most hotels I stay in, however, will charge me the day I checkout, so any extra expenses can be included in the bill. I would have thought a chain hotel like Ibis would do likewise.
We enjoyed our stay at London bridge and the hotel was in a perfect position for our stay, would stay again
We have no complates
Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was included with my room and was very enjoyable.
Nothing to much for staff, evening meal alright, kept staff busy to well past 1am in morning.
Wife's steak meal was a bit tough, was not asked how she would like it cooked.
Central but quiet Good security Long breakfast hours on Sunday morning and 12pm checkout made the morning much more relaxing
It was hard to all sit together in the morning (there were 9 of us staying) though we probably chose the busiest time to come down for breakfast at 9am.
Smart clean hotel in great location
Very poor sp for the breakfast.
The girls at the reception are not qualified bit they are trying there best.
we requested a room hight up and got one..also facing the car park on the back...it was very quiet and we had a good night sleep as well as a nice stay...we plan to come back if the price doesn't get to expensive
it would be nicer if the windows could be opened a bit more to get some fresh air in...but this is only a small comment
The bed was comfy and the hotel was very clean
An okay location, but not amazing. Staff weren't particularly friendly at reception. The woman working at the bar had no idea what she was doing. Disappointing food at breakfast Definitely not worth the money that we paid
plenty of towels
not enough teas and milks
The place is very quiet
Location was very good. Hotel was lovely and breakfast really nice.
The bar was poor and very inexperienced staff
The hotel is well-located, if not centrally-located, and our room, though a bit small, was spotless (I checked) when we arrived. We had a very nice continental breakfast there each day for a week. The very pleasant staff maintained the buffet right up until ending time, refreshing the croissants (which were excellent), bread and pastry, the cereal and fruit, etc., selection frequently. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but free and virtually always easy to log onto. The TV was large, good quality and well-positioned. The bathroom facilities all worked as one hopes they would. The bed was comfortable.
Nothing significant enough to comment upon.
continental breakfast was plentiful and of good quality
sterile appearance of bedroom minimal interaction with staff
Clean, neat, good breakfast :)
Blinds were broken
Our trip to London was to visit the Shard and this hotel was ideally located for this purpose. Clean, modern and comfortable hotel and parking was reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel.
The staff were very helpful and the food was good.Overall experience was good.
Poor nights sleep due to noise from the traffic as our room was street side. Not very good sound insulation. The taxis firm recommended was poor.A return journey from the Royal Albert hall was arranged but when we arrived at the hall the driver informed us he was finished for the night so we should get a black cab for our return journey.
