ideal situe for the Ben Nevis and the Ski Resort at Annochmore, it was also the half way mark for our visit to the Isle of Skye. The hotel has strong links with the Army with the Commando Memorial only a few miles away. Our room was comfortable and the food was first class and plentiful, we will use the Hotel again. sgd T.G. The pub was very nice, populated with the finest variety of local people, colorful characters, excellent service. The Commando Museum is a definite plus for WWII buffs. |

The service for the breakfast which we needed before they normally open, was fantastic. The cabin was very cold in late September. The beds was not very good. You could feel every spring. |

Leaving Leaves a lot to be desired. A very tired and 'neglected' place. We drove 10 miles into Fort William to eat dinner and had breakfast at the 'Little Chef' 100 meters up the road in the morning. Why ?? .. because the public areas of the hotel were as described above and if that's the bit on display to the guests' then what's the bit like behind the scenes.? |

Room clean and bed comfortable. Excellent restaurant within walking distance of hotel. Lots of war memorabilia which is a little bit strange - OK if you like that kind of thing. Did not like little green light on ceiling that remained on all night - made room too bright. |

Chalets away from main hotel, very peaceful, within easy reach of main tourist attractions. Slope from car park to chalet area is in need of urgent repair. |

Our room was located in an additional building and was therefore very quiet. The breakfast was good. The heater in the room was time limited and the curtains in front of the window could not be removed to have a look out of the window. The pub of the hotel did look uninviting and was very empty. |

staff accomodated all our personal needs, heating soup for flasks and were able to provided an up to the minute forecast for Ben Nevis. I'm not mad on the military, however I respect everybody has their own position on this. |

The breakfast. Breakfast not included in price of already expensive room. The room itself was very small, television remote did not work. |

The Cruachan combines its traditional Scottish character with modern comforts and an enviable location overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Morvern Hills beyond. |
