very convenient very clean

wake up call didn't come until 2 minutes before we were leaving - we were awake and ready to go anyway, but it could have made us very late!

Comfortable and good sized room. Excellent location for the airport. Friendly and helpful staff.

My whole experience was fabulous from start to finish. On entering the Speedbird the staff were excellent in accommodating our needs. The Speedbird cleanliness exceeds all other motels I have stayed at - compliments to their domestic staff. Budget wise it suited my group as we were only on a stopover for one night and it provided us with an excellent place to stay. I cannot praise it more. We will be back in Aberdeen in a few months and will absolutely be staying there again.

Close to the airport.

The restaurant. Old oil in the fryer, so french fries tasted a lot of fish. I told the waiter, he tasted them and agree me, but offered no compensation :-(

2 floors only, good fire security OK breakfast

Didn't like that they couldn't provide an adapter from UK to EU standard for wall outlets. Ended up with flat battery on both mobile and computer.

Fire Alarm 0215hrs Sunday 7th April 2013 - fair enough, false alarms happen. Though not impressed by the staff in dealing with/handling the process. Staff appeared blase/disinterested. No attempt made to check off residents/roll call. Complete lack of information/fire marshall/instructions/advice. Very Poor. Writer is a retired Police Officer.

Location close to airport

The fire alarm being set off at 00:15 when I was due up at 05:00 for a check-in, poor communication from staff about the issue. A full mini-bus so unable to get a lift with baggage, not a problem this time as it wasn't raining. Pillows not comfortable in room & very noisy.

Limited Vegetaterian food in restaraunt. Noise from airport Stuffy room, either too hot or cold.

* The fact that I was able to book a room withing a week. * Size of the room was excellent. * Bus facility to Airport was very good. * Car parking was excellent (more luck than anything else!) * Cost of parking was excellent.

* The room was very cold. No indicator as to where the thermostat was to up the heating - till I was leaving! * Bus was delayed 5 minutes which delayed my check-in. Not a big issue but frustrating.

Why do you need to go outside to the restaurant, especially in cold weather. Also, I had no breakfast - not even cereal as I had to be at the airport at 4am

I was travelling offshore next day, so Speedbird was ideally located for the Heliport. Free WIFI was a bonus I didnt expect. Room was warm and comfortable.

I did not like the fact that the receptionist took a booking for me to go on the minibus to the Airport at 0530hrs only to be told by the driver when I got on the minibus that it would not be going there and it would only be going to Bond Helicopters. It seems as though the driver has very inflexible instructions or he is a 'jobsworth'! It would have only taken him two minutes to drop me off as there was only one other passenger on the bus and I think that was what annoyed me most. The driver said he did not have enough time to do an extended run (at 0530 in the morning I know that the roads are not busy?) The receptionist should not have taken my booking in the first place. The next bus would be 0600hrs which was too late for my check-in so I had to walk to the airport with my luggage. I know that it is not far but luckily it was not raining.

The price was over the top for the facilities. Rooms and restaurant in separate buildings which meant going out into cold when going between them. It was ideally located for airport.

Slow check in. I have stayed here three times and the check in is always a slow process.

Portions in the Captains restaurant small I had the tuna salad and ended up with 4 strips of tuna 1/4 thick 2ins long with a load of salid leafs

Bed very good

Hotel staff not very helpful at check-in, had to repeat my details over and over, Room card to entry room had to be changed twice, Long Walk to your room if you are carrying bags or children, Superior room was a disabled room with steel type floor. Still waiting for my hotel Receipt as computer system crashed, Shuttle bus does not start till 5:000am, when most International flights leave at 6:00am, asked for a Taxi to go to the Airport in the morning which never turned up, and Staff very disappointing with any help in the Morning.walked to Airport with heavy kit bags.
