Expensive but fine

Rather than a relaxing night at a hotel it felt like a Heliport departure lounge. I felt the receptionist worked for the police. At reception I was asked to pay in advance & not given the possibility of paying everything including drinks in the bar which I had to go outside for. So I had to pay for using the hotel cash machine. Did they forget to give me a survival suit? I had given my credit card No to secure the booking. Turns out they charged me twice & had to refund it. Thankyou Mr Policeman The corridor where rooms are after reception smells like fish. All the way I had to hold my nose.

Convenience to Aberdeen. Also suitable for staying overnight, if travelling away on holiday. Ease of access.

The cost for one overnight stay is extortionate! No breakfast included in the £121 charge No courtesy bus available from 05:00 to 06:00hrs unless you were going to Bond. Apart from the location, I would not say that this hotel is good value for money. I can stay in Aberdeen town centre for half the price and intened to do this for all future visits (once every two weeks)

Ideally located next to Dyce Aberdeen Airport if you have an early flight with complimentary minibus to the terminal.

Very helpful over the phone and they supply a free shuttle service to the airport and Dyce Station which is excellent if you are arriving by train as taxis cost a fortune. Airport shuttle starts at 5am and was ready and waiting. Excellent service and pleasant driver.

The restaurant was a total disaster. The hotel is used mainly by offshore workers during the week and so is very busy. There was a queue for the restaurant, which is understandable, but when I eventually got a seat and placed my order nothing happened. My drink did not appear even though several otther guests who arrived after me had their drinks served. Very little food seemed to be coming out of the kitchen. The staff were clearly very stressed and totally disorganised. I would say they were way under staffed. I told them that I could not wait any longer as I had to be up early for a flight and so got up and left the restaurant. There is no other rerstaurant close by and so I did not eat that evening. In future I would make other arrangments to eat.

Very close to Aberdeen airport - could walk there without having to wait for shuttle buses. Friendly staff, clean facilities. I was able to leave my car in their car park during my trip at a much cheaper rate than other car parks

The the duty manager on the evening/night of my check in was extremely helpful, as was another memebr of staff in dealing with my request.

The day I stayed the original room I was given did not look like it had been serviced, but I have to say that this was out with the usual high standards I have previously encountered when satying here. That said it was quickly dealt with.
