The promise of a Full English Farm House Breakfast with home reared pork sausage and fresh eggs from their own Chickens.

Not able to enter rooms before 4pm!! 2 pieces of thin streaky bacon 1 fried egg, 1 small sausage desert spoon of beans 3 small cherry tomatoes teaspoon full of mushroom !!!!! Cheap concentrated Orange juice.

The hosts were professional yet very welcoming, and made myself and my young son feel very much at home. This was particularly appreciated as I am recently bereaved. Everything was done to make our trip run smoothly. Thank you so much.

Booked this for a weekend as part of a trip to River Cottage. Excellent stay, everything just right from the warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and friendly, informative hosts. We booked a taxi in advance to take us to RC and it proved to be an efficient and friendly service. If the weather is fine take a glass of something over to the lake and enjoy the sunset, fabulous! Finally, the breakfasts are great with a special mention to Keith's homemade bacon and sausages to Bridget's blackcurrant jam.

Bridget and Keith are delightful hosts who offer a great breakfast and quiet retreat reception area were one can contemplate their next plan or simply relax.A truly genuine and warm environment to arrive at the end of ones day. Brilliantly located to access stunning areas of interest and as a keen foodie close proximity to River Cottage.A great room and comfy environment with stunning outlook in every direction.

Absolutely everything we found at the farm. Just the best B&B we have stayed at,

The bed ...it was too comfy, we didn't want to get out of it.

Bridget and Keith were perfect hosts, friendly and very helpful with local knowledge. The setting was beautiful. Breakfast delicious.

(trivial) the small sink in the shared bathroom. I think the bath in a shared bathroom was unnecessary - if other guests may be waiting you can hardly have a bath.

Bridget and Keith met us on arrival and were very welcoming. Our rooms were ready, very clean and everything was explained clearly. We were down for a 50th birthday party in nearby Axminster and were worried that we might be back late and it might cause a problem. Keith quickly put us at ease by explaining that we could come back at any time. Breakfast was prepared using home-sourced products. Fantastic!

We had a lovely shared bathroom between us. However, the sink was too small to shave. A minor issue that did not prevent us from wanting to book again.

Friendly service from Keith & Karen. They were concerned for our welfare as an older couple and turned the central heating on for our benefit.

Small wash-hand basin in bathroom. If you were not taking a shower, the washing facilities were extremely limited
