Good location in Spitalfields, next to many restaurants, cafes and bars, but still in a quiet side-street. Three-bedroom apartment was very spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Wonderful view from the terrace.
The code that had been provided to get the keys upon arrival did not work, so needed to contact the company and was given a new code (after 15 min). Luckily we had arrived during the day and not late in the evening or at night. The water leaked after having a shower, making the bathroom floor quite slippery. No place where to leave luggage after check-out.
The area was perfectly safe and right on the doorstep for the Sunday market at Bricklane
Really good apartment, have enough space and every equipment we need.
A little bit difficult to find it.
Loved the balcony and the location. Apartment was top notch.
Sofa was a bit uncomfortable
Very clean, comfortable, serviced to high standard, very close to tube, some nice restaurants
No option of twin beds - only doubles available. In email before arrival, there was no information with regard to cabinet, key, apartment number - a bit confusing but works well other than that
The neutral decor was very attractive and the apartment was clean and well supplied. It is within easy walking distance of the tube and there are many bars/restaurants nearby.
The shower leaked making the bathroom tiles wet underfoot. The surrounding area is a bit dodgy.
The location was near to where we needed to be and handy for the tube. There was also very cheap parking facilities just around the corner. It was extremely quiet for central London. The layout of the apartment was lovely.
The bath/shower leaked which resulted in the floor tiles squelching.
This company cancelled our reservation without calling us to notify. We turn up at the appartments with no reception or manned desk. I resort to checking my emails only to find they doublebooked us and had to therefore cancel our reservation. So straneded in London at 8pm with nowhere to stay... Thanks.
lovely space, great location.
The process of booking this apartment was about as painful as any I have ever had. I wanted to rent it for a night not buy it! I had to provide evidence of ID over and beyond what i normally experience. The staff mentioned that they had had previous guests throw a party. That needs to be their problem to deal with not mine. We were three middle aged professionals who provided a valid credit card and passport and driving licence. I was then asked to send through a utility bill. Twice. as they could not read it well enough first time (try the zoom function on your computer) Thank god they did not ask for a birth certificate as I have no idea where mine is. Booking.com is a service i use a lot because it is quick and simple. Booking at Marque is quite frankly like the krypton factor (an 80's reference which proves i am middle aged). Sorry - loved the apartment but won't book again.
modern building, and decoration
although the area is quiet, but it's far from the city and un-classy area. I have called several times to the manager to order something but nobody showed up..
Would have loved the apartment had everything been up to standard and in working order.
The fact that we had no lightening in any of the bedrooms and bathrooms for our entire stay ( 4 nights). Putting our health and safety at risk.Currently trying to get some refund for the stress caused by this.
Good property, clean and large, quiet and morden. specialy it has a big balcony, fantastic. Location has a small distance to the tube(10---15minutes walking),the surounding is the traditional india---pakistan area. There has instruction in the room to let you easy to connect the taxi. We love it and will be back later.
Could not rate staff as I met none.... The rooms were brilliant... Flats were test secure, clean, tidy , well kitted out. Only issue was no fault of the company. So no complaints... Can't wait to go back
Not very much! Maybe aircon would be a good addition
Wifi did not work properly. Showers did not keep water contained. Insufficient dishes.
Products to clean and quietness and the security. The key safe is an excellent idea. The staff at city mark gave me an excellent service either by phone or by email. Many thanks to Jane and others of the staff. The apartment is great.
There are no chair on the patio. Si we can't use it. Everything else is perfect Ronald from Canada, Québec
stunning apartment and view
door codes where changed and keys to apartment were not i he safe so had to wait for a nightporter to lt us into the apartment which took over an hour.
Great location, staff very prompt to reply when there were issues, good facilities.
We asked about dishwasher tablets at the beginning of the trip and were told that they would be supplied, this never happened. On the last day of our trip we were told they would be stocked after we checked out. This was kind of annoying. The wifi was kind of unreliable; it is very 'patchy'.
We all loved the apartment, it was very clean and modern and in a great location for where we needed to be.
The water pressure in the showers wasn't very strong, the wi-fi kept cutting off and the lock of the apartment door kept sticking but apart from that everything was excellent.
Good location. Excellent apartment.
Huge hassle to get vetted from city marque.
I didn't realize the place was so spacious. I could invite colleagues for meeting there. Modern looks, tub and most importantly the wifi works.
Sofa wasn't the most comfortable and it was a bit of a hustle to get the key to the room. My codes didn't work, but fortunately you can always call for help.
Forniture and cleaness
1. The check in very difficult and troubled; 2. Request for late check out for few houres, with cost 75 gbp
- the price I paid matched the services, except for a few things - the entry to the building was smart and safe, something very important to me, great work with that. - apartment was very clean, which might have been because it was new, but who cares when you are getting a decent flat? - the apartment included almost everything you need
- My wifi experience was terrible, as I had to call numerous times for it to be sorted out. the bad thing about the wifi is that the apartments used those mobile mifi routers for the internet. To counter this, I would call and ask if the apartment was installed with a proper connection. - I asked for an extra bed, and was brought a blanket, lenin, and two pillows instead. the worst part is that I was charged 20 pounds a day for that!
the apt is brand new, even if at this pace will not last long..
No staff at reception does not mean no service; I received a lot of emails for confirmation of the general conditions but without the relevant info how to access the apt (from which floor, specifically); moreover the toilet was broken at our arrival
We loved the location and the apartment was very spacious for the five of us. It was a quiet neighbourhood for Central London.
Communication was poor. I emailed that I wanted to book in at 1pm and received no confirmation email about it. Having arrived there we couldn't get in the apartment until nearly 4 pm as the previous person checked out too late and left a huge mess in there, which the cleaning staff did their very best to sort out quickly for us.
