Very convenient location.
the full English breakfast was very tasty
the parking problem was a nightmare until the owners of the b and b solved it for us
Near to conference centre Easy to find Cost Friendly proprietors Good breakfast
Having to remember to put parking pass in car ...forgot to put my registration number on the ticket (given free by hosts) and got done by very zealous traffic warden.. All my fault but very annoying all the same
Couple who run this guest house are welcoming n great service
Breakfast was excellent and the hosts very friendly which is really nice when travelling as a solo on business. The room while small had all the comforts of home. Even though I had to share a bathroom it was spotlessly clean. Will certainly be making a return trip!
Very friendly owners. Excellent location very quiet yet very handy for town and conference centre. Lovely room in the eaves
Prefer to have a bath rather than shower but the shower worked fine.
The proprietor's were very nice indeed. Very helpful and friendly. The room was smart and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in a lovely dining room was excellent and very prompt. Thank you very much.
Close to centre of Harrogate, and very near to venue I was visiting. Staff friendly and welcoming. Bed lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was great choice and tasty. Other guests friendly and chatty.. Would certainly stay there again.
Noisy macerator pump in ensuite,
Clean neat and tidy bedroom and shared bathroom. Breakfast nicely presented. Look forward to a future visit.
Nothing comes to mind.
Very clean, lovely breakfast, quiet pleasant location and good value for money
Breakfast was excellent.
Bathroom was too small
Good size room with facilities and easy access to high street Car Parking arrangement great
The hosts were friendly, quiet road and the breakfast was great!!
The t.v. Reception wasn't good
Locality very near to town, quiet and fabulous breakfast.
Nothing to dislike. It's a cosy guest house and you get what you pay for
I will use it again
The location, only a 5 minute walk in to town. The hosts were lovely, really helpful with directions and good places to eat. Parking was not a problem The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!
Our rooms were perfectly clean and well appointed. The selection of teas, cookies, and creams were welcome after a long trip. The breakfast was prompt, delicious, and ample, and cheerfully served. Parking was convenient. Our host was convivial, friendly, flexible, and accommodating. He helped my husband find an enjoyable ramble and was equally willing to give me careful directions to my destination. We stayed two nights. I certainly would return.
almost all of it the the hosts were very wlcming
the T V a lot of interferance
Rooms a bit claustrophobic
Loved the closeness of the premises to the conference centre and the town centre. Loved the peace of the location. Enjoyed the company of the other guests and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Lovely breakfasts.
The couple who run the B&B are very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk from the main shopping area, famous attractions and rail and bus stations. Road is quiet. Hospitality tray was nice, with water, teas etc. and biscuits replenished each day. Choice of breakfast is good, variety of cooked, drinks and cereal etc.
The mattress was hard and the room was small with no surface to put a computer on etc. (a little space either side of sink but not good place for electrics!) I also grazed my leg on a metal component jutting out of the bed (brushed against it as narrow gap between it and wall). The curtains weren't very effective, they were white and let the light in, you could see light from street coming through at night and then daylight early on a summer's morning. The plumbing is noisy, you can hear if someone in another room is having a shower (and on the first night I could hear next door snoring so the walls are thin, bring earplugs!) It is reasonably priced so I suppose value for money but a few more surface areas and an improvements to allow a comfortable night's sleep would be welcomed.
Comfortable room Tea, coffee & biscuits! Excellent Wifi access Lovely breakfast Welcoming hosts
Location is good for town centre, theatre and conference hall. Comfortable, value for money.
Our room at the back, first floor was adjacent to a separate toilet and bathroom. Unfortunately, this was noisy when used by other guests in the night. More sound proofing required!
Staff/ owner was friendly and knew what he was doing. Room was comfortable with all facilities as advertised. Breakfast was great, well cooked and presented
Just like home! Breakfast is lovely.
Small room tiny bathroom and free wifi non existent
