I got on very well with Kevin, the proprietor, who is a mine of information on Belfast and Northern Ireland generally. Springfield B and B is a perfect location for those wanting to know more about the city whilst avoiding the familiar tourist hot-spots. Even so, the infamous Falls Road is literally just round the corner. A bonus is the truly superb Springfry fish and chip shop just across the Springfield Road!

Landlord friendly. Room clean. Breakfast was well cooked and plenty. Easy walk into Belfast. Quiet location. Breakfast started at 8 which meant I had a rush to get to Conference by 8.45!

Flexibility in timetables. Fetching service.Friendly atmosphere. The way the crucially important personal information was not taken care of! The papers containing whole number of creditcards and other details layed freely on the table for anyone to pick up! I wonder if that`s legal?!

Right in the heart of the Falls Road, this place gives you a full immersion into the crazy complexities of West Belfast. Despite reminders of the Troubles like the Peace Wall and the murals, it' s not a dangerous area - in fact the local people are very friendly - and anyone interested in politics and recent history will be fascinated. The b 7 b itself is cosy and good value and run by a local couple. Our room was tiny - but then we did ask for the small (slightly cheaper) room!

The hotel's owner is very friendly and is present all the time. He gave me the whole orientation of the sights of Belfast and on public transport. The stairs are narrows.

There a homely feel to the place. Kevin, the owner was very helpful and offered to drive me from the airport upon my arrival and then where I wanted to go the next morning - so if he is free, he will help you out, which is very nice of him!

It is a nice B & B run by very friendly family. The rooms were clean with new clean bathroom/shower facilities. The breakfast was a very delicious full English breakfast. You must be in good physical condition to carry luggage up several flights of stairs. The rooms are very small, but adequate. It is a long walk to downtown from the B & B. Parking is on the street which necessitated parking over a block from the B & B. These aren't intended to be serious complaints, but people need to know these things if they are in any way physically limited.

We stayed 4 nights in the Springfield b&b in Belfast and enjoyed our stay very much. The owner Kevin is a very nice guy, who offered us to pick us up from the airport although it was very late already, which was much cheaper than taking a taxi. He was very helpful in general, always willing to answer all our questions and give us directions and information. The room we lived in was clean, as well as the bathroom, and equipped with a big tv, water boiler (+ coffee and tea) and a hair dryer. A highlight was definitely the breakfast each morning. You just say what you would like to eat and you get freshly cooked eggs, sausages, bacon and beans. There is also toast, jelly, and cornflakes available, as well as milk, orange juice and freshly brewed coffee and tea. The b&b is not exactly located in the city center, but it’s only a 20-25 minute walk to the city hall, or a 3 minute taxi drive. There are also bus stops near the b&B. All in all we can say that we could not have made a better choice with our accomodation in Belfast.

The room, food and welcome was great. Unfortunately I only had one hour sleep. The room below me was occupied by a man who spent the entire night from 1am to 6am on his telephone - speaking and laughing loudly. This was despite me going down to complain to him at 4.30am. I'm afraid that this experience rather overshadowed my stay and resulted in me being too tired to carry out my plans for the next day.
