Nice and clean, Friendly welcome, wonderful cooked breakfast. I booked a small double room for single occupancy, was as it said on the box, small, but big enough. En suite was a tad small, but bigger than the kiosks you get in a certain budget hotel group!. Water temp and pressure were both good. Excellent free wifi and good wall mounted TV, even though I could not seem to get subtitles up. This is on a budget accomodation and is a B&B, not a guest house but I will definitely stay again.
Restricted on street parking is a little bit of an issue, but can be overcome with a quick scout round the immediate area. Host Kevin is well informed on this issue and gave advice.
The attitude of the owner and staff. The cleanliness of the room and the food at the breakfast table.
The room was a little small for 3 adults although we were quite late in booking.
the owner and his wife were very helpful the breakfast was lovely very nice place
very small room. there was four of us in a room that was only 2m x 4m. you could not easily walk into the bathroom because one of the beds was in the way.
Personal attention given
Staffs are nice and friendly. They gave me many helps. Facilities are good, breakfast was delicious!
Great location. Everything I needed was there. Friendly staff
All good nothing to dislike.
Kevin was the perfect host and made our holiday perfect with great insight and advice Hospitality Excellent Breakfast was 5 star Irish
The dog next door barking on Sunday morning
Security and location
Dining area small for busy times
The person who runs the b&b not very friendly
Location , food
Being Picked up at the ferry port saved having to find a taxi or other transport. I found the area of the house Interesting but some may not like it.
My single room had a double bed nice but used all the room there was nowhere to leave my bag
Will stay again!!! :)
Good room, substantial breakfast, helpful owner, GBP 21 ride to the International Airport, a few non-tourist pubs nearby. 20-25 minutes' walk to the city centre.
No food in pubs late at night, but - plenty of beer! :)
Clean, comfortable, good breackfast, very kind and warm staff
room a bit small, not a problem at all
Good staff, clean room and bathroom also very comfortable.
Value for money, proprietor was very helpful. Clean and comfortable.
Bedroom was clean
Location - half hour walk or 5 minute cab to downtown. Right on the edge of the old "troubles" area for recent history buffs. B&B owner provided great tips to save money for our Dublin sight seeing.
Family room a "wee" bit too small for 3 adults. But hey, we wanted to stay in an older house so, it goes with the territory. The owner was flexible enough to rent us a second room for night #2 (at a really good rate) so we could spread out.
Friendly, very clean and comfortable.
Kevin and June who own this B&B made us feel very welcome. They both made our first stay very comfortable. The place was spotless, thanks June. June also served us at breakfast, and she makes a lovely cooked breakfast with toast and there was also cereal and fruit juices etc available. All in all a nice wee place, with welcoming owners. Parking, pubs, shops, and eateries all close by and everyone was very helpful and friendly. (There was essential maintenence going on which did not affect our stay at all. The majority of the work had been done before we arrived, so a wee lick of paint in the downstairs areas and it will be complete). Would stay here again and recommend to others.
The room was a small double any smaller it would have a broom cupboard we had to squeeze around the bed the shower door was hard to open and close work being done drilling and banging all day until late could have got a lot better for 59 pounds a night (should have got a reduced price) won't be staying there again ,
Was central to where I wanted to be
The owner was quite rude. And single room was too small and clostrophobic. I did not think it was at all value for money. I would say better spend 20 more pounds and stay at another b&b !! I am never going back to it again and would advice others to save them self from going there
