was.looking fowad to.out side pool but was.closed.bit.up.set.as.it.was.hot.and.the.walls.in.room.very.thin.could.hear.the.people.taking .or.they.were.very.load

Beautiful, secluded location, close to the seaside town of Swanage and many other tourist attractions. A fantastic base from which to explore Dorset.

public areas are comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Food and dining area of high quality. Staff provided everything we asked for.

no lift our bedroom was up 2 flights of stairs had to carry own case.

Could not find remote for tv. Thought hotel rate very expensive have stayed in many better hotels for less. At rate they charge full English breakfast should be included.

Very friendly staff ,location

Easy going with pleasant staff. Reasonable food and clean and comfortable rooms.

Poor Wi-Fi in some areas of the hotel. Unable to connect to the Wi-Fi from my room.

staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was excellent ground floor patio door opened out on to a very well maintained garden.

pool area/sauna steam room would have been nice to have a drinking water fountain.

inflexible management asked for room with bath told one was available but at an extra cost of £60 breakfast was charged as an extra on top of an already pricey room shower head in bathroom loose power vent in window of bathroom non functional very low water pressure in both hot and cold taps in washbasin haphazard cleaning of algal bloom off tiles in swimming pool whilst guests were using it!

The staff were pleasent and helpful. Spa and pool facilities good. Hotel grounds well kept and short drive to Wareham and the coast.

Expensive for what you got. The room smelt of damp and hadn't been updated for at least 20yrs. It was dusty and we must have squashed over 30 mosquitoes even though we kept the windows shut. We filled in their questionnaire and invited them to call us to discuss but they never called. This summed up our stay with them and we won't be going back. Shame because top location and with investment in the rooms would make it into great hotel.

The service we received was excellent. The reception and restaurant were brilliant, in particular two Spanish waitress/waiter Sheyla and Roberto - very friendly.

I found the furniture slightly outdated. Room size & view were great but the furniture, in my opinion, needs upgrading/renewing.

Good facilities such as the pool and leisure activities. Staff were kind enough in accomodating my special access requirements and request for an earlier check in as we had a wedding at 2pm.

It's in dire need of an upgrade. Quality was essentially 3 star but not sure the price of the stay reflected that.

The evening meal was perfectly acceptable (I had the Sea Bass with fresh veg).

Our double room very small and barely large enough to house our case & golf clubs. The hotel (as has been stated by numerous guests) is very outdated. I walked for what felt like an eternity from the reception area to the bar upstairs, & I couldn't see what all the space was needed for. On the Sat morn I had to wait almost ten minutes whilst the one girl on reception answered a long hotel booking by telephone. Most annoying when all you want to do is pay the bill! I felt the hotel was over priced & represented poor value for money. We won't be returning.

From start to our leaving we felt welcome by all staff. Evening meal was perfect. In fact we liked the whole experience of our stay and fully intend to return in the winter.

Facilities were good, family friendly. All staff were very friendly and really helpful.

TV didn't work during our stay, although our room and part of the hotel was up to date and recently decorated, other parts opf the hotel looked dated and worn.

Receptionist, did not explain the facilities to me, the fact the lift was out of order, expensive food for what was on offer. Tough lamb in my evening meal, an underwhelming prawn and avocado salad

Great facilities, swimming pools spa, sauna, steam room. Comfortable bars and restaurant.

We received a warm welcome on arrival, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were great and the rooms were clean, nicely decorated and huge!! We had dinner in the restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Very impressed overall and will definitely be returning to stay again.

Quiet location, not too far from Swanage. Excellent facilities. We went in both indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi (watch for slippery steps though). Room spacious and comfortable. Dinner excellent; unfortunately we left before breakfast. Overall we were impressed and would like to go there again.

Only a slight thing; stains on the curtains (everything else was clean.) Disappointed to initially have been charged for breakfast which we didn't have as we left early; but that was put right. Maybe we should have settled up the day before.

Everything you need for an active or leisure break with excellent locations within easy reach of the hotel.

Room was very clean & comfortable serviced daily with clean linen. Staff were very friendly & co-operative,eager to accommodate any request. Situation was perfect,plenty of parking, close to Wareham & many other scenic spots to visit. Facilities at hotel were excellent eg pools & fitness classes. Food was very good indeed,delicious & plentiful. Gardens & grounds were well-kept & beautiful,pleasant areas to sit outside. Overall a lovely place I would certainly recommend & hope to re-visit.

The morning we left I took a shower at 10.30am & the water supply went off. Was offered an adjacent room but after a few seconds that had no water either. Had to walk down to the swimming pool facilities to finish my shower.

The facilities were worn out and low quality. There was only one twoel for two of us, the paper wasnt delivered to our room and generally the place felt tired and dark.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym was extremely well equipped. The grounds were well maintained and pleasant.

The decor in the hotel was somewhat tired. Very comfortable and not an issue, but did look like it could perhaps benefit from a refurbishment.
