Nothing, when we came in a person was trying to get money back and yelling, this was not a good sign and they really made this true. * toilet didn't flush so with 3 persons in a room a lot of litter stays in the toilet * shower holds all the water so you were up untill your ankles in shower water * room was very small and also getting on the toilet as a 1.92mtr man was really a challenge * ceiling was dirty and with a lot of loose paint * beds were not horizontal and that is a real feast during the night * room was right next to the entrance of the breakfast room that opens at 07.00, so waking early is a guarantee * breakfast included but really to eat except for the baked eggs and toast but don't ask for anything else like scrambled eggs or cheese...the service is really bad with mad asiens * when complaining at the reception he listened with a smile and did nothing except cleaning the toilet and making the shower run proper THIS IS REALLY A NO GO HOTEL

It does have a good central location The room had white stains on the carpet, there was mould on the wall. The rug was very tired looking and ripped. The bathroom was dirty and smelt incredibly musty, everything really needed a good bleach and scrub!! The room was incredibly hot which nothing could have been done about. The "full english" breakfast was just a joke so we didn't eat it even though it was in the price we paid for. The security of the hotel was awful - we had to leave our room key at reception whenever we were going out and on a couple of occasions we returned to the hotel, went to reception to collect our room key, to find that no one was on reception but all the room keys on view so anyone would be able to walk straight in, take the keys and let themselves into any persons room - very disconcerting!! We were really really disappointed with our stay in this hotel and certainly will not be going back there ever again.

I stayed here with my partner when we both ran the London Marathon. Extremely close to Paddington Station and it ticked all our requirements. The rate was very competitive. It might not be an ideal place to stay if you were planning a romantic break away, but as a base for shopping or sight-seeing, the Springfield fits the bill.

Location is great. The room (triple) was so small that there was no space to lay our bag. It was dirty. The bedding was stained. The window was washed before ww2 last time. Bathroom - just awfull. Small. Dirty like the room. The shower walls were falling apart. The first breakfast: the staff were late, the dining room full of people.I asked for scrumbled eggs. The woman said "sorry I am to busy I won't make scrumbled eggs". There was no question of whether I have to wait a bito more. She was just too busy. Well, on the other hand it was very polite of her. She could as well say "WTF are you asking for". Never ever again. The worst hotel I ever stayed in.

Good location close to Paddington subway. We stayed in a room which was on the street side, from 21/03 to 25/03. When we checked into our room, the window was open and we realized there was a crack in the window. The room was cold and heating was not working properly. These were the coldest days of London. The double bed matress was busted. And very uncomfortable. Due to cold weather and insufficient heating we had to look for extra blankets and covers. Unfortunatily we found a blanket and pillow in the closet and used them both. In the morning my husband had red stings and rashes on his arms, back, legs. The next day he finally spoted a bedbug and smeshed it.Then we offered another room by the receptionist. He was helpful and changed our room. We complain We offer said the matris and bed, cracked window, uneven floor and bed bugs

Excellent value for money with ensuite, breakfast, luggage storage and double room for £36 for a night! Fantastically welcoming receptionist, who was pleasant and helpful. Good location just out of Bakerloo line at Paddington. Tiny bathroom, with a few broken fittings. Very thick quilt and high heating.

Position of Hotel excellent, reception area and breakfast room nice.Night staff on reception very nice and good service at breakfast. The most shabbiest room we have ever stayed in, Beds very old and uncomfortable, carpet was dirty and made up of many pieces. Bathroom fittings very old and toilet stained. We had a basement room with the outlook of a small courtyard full of cigarette butts and litter and a ladder which we presume would be the fire exit!

The staff was friendly. The hotel has a good location near Paddington Station. It is also clean, and you get a decent breakfast. The drainage in the shower was poor. I had to shower in three intervals, and waiting for the water level to sink between these.

Provision of tea-making facilities but having to request extra milk. The location being close to Paddington main line station. The necessity of the Receptionist to place me in a triple-bedded room when I requested a single room. This was apparently because the Hotel was full despite my confirming to the Hotel a few days before that I still needed the room for the Monday night. The smallness of the en- suite facilities in that room. The fact that the taps on the washbasin had the wrong 'colour tops' causing the use of the hot tap to be confused with using the cold tap.

Everyone working in the hotel were so helpfull. Especially Radu. A big cheers to them. They've never received my-Booking from Booking.com. We had a very difficult time because of you. But thanks to them, especially Radu, they've offered us 1 night free stay and arranged a room. The room was for 3 we were 4 and thanks to booking.com, we had to squeeze into that room.
