Good location, lovely room , warm welcome
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Staff were the most helpful and nice to deal with of any hotel we have stayed at. They really helped to make our trip memorable and we would definately stay there again,
Everything was perfect
Very comfortable bed, nice decor, superb location, very welcoming staff
Room was a little on the small side, and it was difficult to get room heating right
Beautiful interiors and attention to detail, bathroom facilities fantastic (including lovely robes) and size of room made it a great stay. Super easy to get to and would not hesitate in coming back and recommending to others!
Only downside was the room was very hot even in winter the window was open and it was still warm.
greeted by warm, helpful and friendly staff- the bedroom was luxurious, comfortable. the hotel was excellent overall and handy or town centre and seafront- cant rate it high enough
The staff and the willingness to go over and beyond....!
That we weren't there for longer!
Loved the bed and the interior of room #3. One of the staff members mentioned it was their favorite. I did not see what the other rooms were like but I was really happy with the one I stayed in. The location was great and I was surprised how quiet it was. Lots of places to go and eat around. Very happy!
No climate control so it was either very hot or very cold in the room. Was quite hard to keep a stable temperature.
THE STAFF (HUSBAND AND WIFE) WHERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL. THE INSIDE WAS DECORATED TO A HIGH SPEC AND THE ROOM WAS TOP NOTCH. EVERYTHING YOU NEED CLOSE BY.
Wi-Fi was not working in room. I called the emergency number and no one replied. The shower was difficult to control. More importantly, the breakfast was poor, no eggs, no beans ... Not worth of money and I won't come again.
Joanne was very helpful Lovely room tea coffee facilities everything you needed Good night sleep
The location was perfect Staff polite friendly welcoming and pleasant (extremely helpful) The apartment was absolutely beautiful and so so comfortable and modern, with stunning decor Parking right outside (however weekends holidays and summer probably harder to park) Supermarket right behind the hotel for self catering facilities within the apartment We had our own set of keys which was great as didn't feel pressured to a time to come in and out The mini bar option was great!! Will come back for defo and recommended to many already
No hand rail down to the apartment which was a little tricky in healed boots after dinner No proper bar or dinner area The oven produced quite a smoke which was right next to a fire alarm Toilet with no proper door so was a little awkward for us Radio on TV didn't work in bedroom Overall though with a few tiny improvements we will defo be back it was absolutely lovely
We liked the decor of the room that we was given and the free bottle of wine due to it was New Years. The bed was very cosy and comfortable! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again.
The only issue we had was with the hot water, the water seemed to turn cold after a certain amount of time which wasn't really nice.
I loved the beautiful furnishings and the excellent friendly service
It would have been good to be able to have breakfast at 7.30 on the day we left
Location Style Comfy bed
Needs a bit of TLC in some areas
The staff were welcoming, friendly, happy and extremely helpful. We stayed in the apartment, which considering we were a very close distance from the pier and many bars and restaurants was very quiet and unobtrusive. The apartment was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.
It is possibly more than what I would normally spend on a hotel and not something we could realistically do again soon. But this was a treat to ourselves so if you want to go somewhere for comfort and fun rather than convenience then I'd definitely recommend.
The room was really nice, with a view of the sea looking out of the window. The optional mini bar was great . And the big bath was a luxury.
The fact you could see through to the bathroom from the bedroom but it wasn't too much of a big deal.
Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful - we mentioned that it was a birthday weekend and they supplied us with a free bottle of wine. Room was immaculate, very clean. Towels were soft, shower was very nice.
Bathroom was very much on top of the bedroom - noises were heard. Bad noises. Couldn't find the WiFi code...
For a start I thought I had reserved a room at the UMI hotel not the Square so it didn't help to find myself at the opposite end of Brighton that I wanted to be in. The bedroom was very small with the heating on full blast - so very uncomfortable even with the window open. £155 for the night plus £10 each for a continental breakfast (if we wanted) was not good value for me. Also no real bar which closed at 10:00 anyway - not a lot of use when the show we were going to finished at 11:00.
Rooms , service everything was perfect .
We always book the square when we come to Brighton We love it!! Location! The style of the rooms! The comfort of the bed! And the lush bathroom! Can't fault it at all!
We stayed in room 5, it's a great room and will ask to stay in there next time we come to Brighton
Fabulous location for the beach, shops and lovely pubs. The service was second to none, the style was modern and we both enjoyed our continental breakfast with a sea view. The bed was comfy, shower hot and the room quiet. Would stay again as a couple.
Rooms were a little small if staying longer than a couple of nights. Decor could do with a brush up here or there. No parking (but that's standard in Brighton)
Large comfortable bed & crisp cotton bedding. Very clean bedroom & bathroom & soft, white, fluffy towels. Tea & coffee making facility in the room.
Unfortunate drain smell from the en-suite shower. Unsightly unfinished repair on wall under window. Single glazing on window. Broken horizontal louvre blind.
Clean and good location .
The smell of the building and stairs (horrible fragrance)
