“ Lovely hotel. Plenty of parking and the hotel was within easy walk of the river. Receptionist was exceptionally helpful when we arrived giving us a map of the town and showing us the best routes to go. ”

The location was good, good parking nice and close to the city centre and the canal. On a busy road, alright if staying in back rooms. Very warm in summer know cooling system available except window.

Friendly, comfortable and efficient. Extremely clean. Need hooks on bathroom door for bathrobe/toiletries bag as thia would vastly improve storage as twin room is small and not much storage.

everything apart from the noise of the passing traffic We had a room in the front of the hotel which is on a busy road and when you opened the window it was very noisy especially at night. If I stayed again I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel

Ideal place to stay. Lovely big room. Great hot breakfast. They take pride in the hotel as it is kept clean , fresh and decorated well. Would stay again :) As we were put in a room with an external door it did make us feel not part of the hotel :( And what ever the room was behind ( the kitchen I think) we could hear the staff at 6.30am so got woken earlier than would have liked.

The hotel could not have been cleaner, everywhere was spotless. Breakfast very good, we stayed two nights so I tried both English and continental Rooms on the small side but perfectly fine. A small bar in the lounge area would be nice, that said we will definitely stay here again
