Very friendly and welcoming staff. Sparkling clean. Very easy walking to the centre of Exeter and to the river and the Quay. Good position for driving to beaches. Lots of parking. Very good value for money. We will go again if we can.
Helpfulness of staff in resolving our problem was a big plus and relief. The room was comfortable without unnecessary fuss and the breakfast was, similarly, wholesome and good quality. My son and I were very satisfied with our stay.
Small and poorly organised room Breakfast was disgusting At the check out time no staff present at the desk even after ringing the bell 3 different times
Quiet room, very clean, Pleasant, helpful staff. Good car park.
The toast. Would have preferred different bread cut more thickly.
Excellant Breakfast Good parking Faclilties.
Room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with good service. Handy location.
The room was too hot - especially the ensuite. I think that this was due to the heating combined with unusually warm weather in October!
Bed linen was far from fresh, Rough material and absolutely poor mattresses. Was originally given a twin room in a loft area where one could hardly "swing a cat", complained and was moved to a family room which was roomy but poor for above reasons and hopeless shower where one could hardly stand because of shower curtain was "right in ones face". Never again!
Friendly & helpful staff
Ideal situation for the purpose of the visit. Lovely large, airy room. Breakfast good.
Very noisy and busy road.
Spacious comfortable and very quiet room providing me with an excellent nights sleep. The bathroom was spotless and shower very good. The hotel is jest a few minutes walk from the city centre and a short distance by car from the southern ring rind and access to the M5, A38 and A30 to explore beyond the city
Great staff and food
The bed was very uncomfortable in our first room but fine in our second.(We stayed two nights - a week apart)
Lovely clean hotel with courteous staff. A short walk to The Quay and close to the City Centre.
Delicious breakfast Spacious room
Difficulty taking luggage upstairs.No lift
excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Good location with the convenience of a bus stop outside the hotel. Good car parking facility.
Good location and parking. Vary clean and tidy
Very small single room with a tiny sink with little room
The closeness to town and the industrial estate. Free parking defiantly a plus for me. Very clean and tidy and a nice welcome. Feel safe there as a solo traveller
Road and air traffic noise which I appreciate is not the hotels fault.
I found my stay most enjoyable and the staff were polite and very helpful. Highly recommended. Look forward to future visit
helpful and friendly staff relaxed atmosphere good freshly cooked breakfast to order ample free parking and good wifi access in all areas of the hotel
my room was at the front of the hotel and was adequate in size, double for single occupancy, however the road outside was busy and noisy and being someone who likes to have the window open this led to a disrupted sleep
Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
2 x rooms in courtyard area - looked very nice, clean and comfortable... Staff friendly Restaurant and food excellent & good value.
Ist room - noisy water pipes ALL night, noisy road outside bedroom & church clock chiming all night. 2nd Room- could hear pipes from 1st room & bedframe VERY creaky - woke us both up every time one turned over! NOT a restful stay. Parking very limited and not easy to negotiate with a long car.
The fact that it was a convenient location for the whole of Exeter and just out of the main tourist area. Market close by. Breakfast was delightful, sitting area comfortable and whole of the place refreshing.
No water "regulator" for the shower, cycled hot and cold- don't stand under it! Burnt out light over the sink. Moldy/dirty window framework when the window was opened.
We have stayed here several times for weekend visits to Exeter and it has met our expectations on every occasion
This hotel is very near my son's house so convenient for visiting them. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good parking facilities. Easy walk into town.
Bed just a standard double so seemed small compared to our king size bed at home. Sound of kitchen air conditioning unit right under the window was a bit noisy.
Off street parking, good breakfast, stylish decore. Friendly staff. Good location
small room, stairs to room
The location is close to the quayside. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a twin room in the front of the hotel. The room was very small and noisy being close to the main room. We wanted to leave the window open as the room was very warm unfortunately the noise kept us awake so we had to sleep in a very warm oppressive room.
