Great location, well decorated, boutique hotel. Great bar but did not have time to enjoy on this trip. Molton Brown products. Nice bathroom.

Convenient for town and golf courses. Breakfast was plentiful! Staff were very pleasant. The hotel was very noisy at night. Basement restaurant/bar noise from the street - even with our windows closed. Our room was described as 'superior'with sea view. While it was comfortable enough, it was on top floor, with limited view from small dormer-type window - not all that superior.

I loved this hotel. The room couldn't have been better - 3rd floor with a sea view, very easy to keep cosy even in November storms, very clean. The room was one of 4 with a seating area in the middle, which would be great if you're with a group. I didn't have dinnner in the hotel, but breakfast was lovely (sea view again) and there was a comfortable lounge for sitting and reading a book in, where you were left in peace for as long as you liked. Why don't more hotels do this? This hotel is in a great location on the scores, minutes away from town, golf or the beaches and I would recommend it as a treat or to spoil a family member or for a golfing break. It's quite expensive but it was very comfortable. There's a bar next door/downstairs (Ma Bells) that has a real fire and comfy seats that does great bar food. There was a function on on the Friday evening and I could hear the music in my room but this is a minor point that certainly wouldn't prevent me from staying here again if I can!

The hotel had great views to the sea and was located right next to the Old Course. I could just walk to the first tee with my golf bag. The personnel was really helpful and made our stay convinient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent location and the superior sea front room made it even better. What a view to wake up to. Staff were all very helpful. Would definetely stay again. The front of the hotel could do with a bit of a spruce as the first impressions are not the best. I was slightly worried at first until we entered the hotel.

Excellent selection of magazines, food excellent and staff very pleasant Our room was above entrance from car park, when the door was being closed it was quite noisy, maybe a different type of door would solve this.

They need to offer down or feather pillows as I had to go out and purchase 2 pillows in order to sleep. They need a thicker mattress cover so you are not sleeping against the mattress. The phones did not work at all. The toilet was not working properly even after the maintenance came into fix it. The room had a gorgeous room but was above Ma Bells which was noisy and kept us awake most nights till 1:00 in the morning. Sadly love the location but also need a good nights sleep.

Its location in the heart of St Andrews. We had dinner bed and breakfast for one night only. The reception staff were very laid back. Dinner was not too bad although I did not like having fish and chips on thick wooden platters - highly unsuitable and unhygienic.. Breakfast was abysmal - the service was very slow and when our plates of scrambled eggs (nothing else) did arrive, they looked as though they had been scraped from someone's else plate, were cold and tastless. We left them. I think there was a dispute in the kitchen as the staff seemed very reluctant. If we had had more time we really would have complained.

Everything was very comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was wonderful, drinks in the bar were cosy, and the golf storage area was well appreciated. The room was large with a lovely view, comfortable bed and great location. Not a big thing but the cloth headboard top was very dusty.

We were staying to celebrate an anniversary as we were married in the hotel 30 years ago. Staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating - receptionist Shelley kindly showed us the function suite . Room was very comfortable - good mattress - important! Sink was very slow to drain - needed some Mr Muscle! Dinner was fine, but not brilliant - dining room lacked ambience. Good breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay.
