The rooms need a deep refurbishment: carpets are stained and old, bathroom awful, windows old and dirty. I suggest to look for something better

The hotel amenities need to be upgraded. It is "tired" and needs a good facelift.

The rooms are in desperate need of updating. There is nothing comfortable about the rooms. There is no parking except on the street which can make luggage transport difficult. I suggest you look for something better.

very nice one night stay bedroom was clean and comfortable. staff polite and breakfast very good.

Went in for a drink in the bar below Ma Bells and feel it really needs to be refurbished as tables and chairs/decor very tired and drab. (Is this is part of your hotel?)

Everything! The location was perfect. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the staff on the reception desk. In fact, every member of staff we encountered throughout our stay was friendly and helpful to us. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the room was extremely comfortable and quite luxurious. The magazines in the bedroom were a nice touch too. The public areas were also very comfortable. Breakfast in the dining room overlooking the bay was well cooked and very tasty. We previously stayed in one of the 4* hotels on the golf course and consider this hotel to be much better. We have already recommended it to all our friends.

The first room I was given smelled very strongly of stale cigar smoke. This should have been dealt with before allocating the room again. The beds were very hard and the double bed was made up of two single beds with a ridge down the middle (much more than in other hotels) hotel a little tired and needing freshening up. Not really that good value for money compared to other places.

Hard bed, not getting dinner drinks requested nor breakfast starter. Expensive in comparison to other locations but probably aligned to other establishments in this location

Location. The rooms that have been modernised are lovely. We have booked to stay in the hotel for our wedding.

The rooms still to be modernised appear lacking - the quality of our room was below par - especially the bathroom but I know the hotel is due for a refurb.

The view on West Sands

The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Carpets are stained and old. Way overpriced - especially in low season - relative to standards.

Everything! Great view, very comfortable, rich breakfast, near the city center.

Facilities in room were excellent.

Food was excellent, and worth the visit alone. Staff were excellent especially Andrew the maitre de.

Furnishings in room were aged, bathroom was very modern however. Room was cold but bed warm. Carpets throughout were a bit threadbare and in need of replacement.

Lovely room. Have stayed before. and each time really enjoyed the hotel. Great sea view from the restaurant and lounge area.
