very clean quiet and near the town

Well there is a kitchen and a Bingo place just across the hotel. So get your bingo cheat and go for it!

Ease , out side parking, prompt assistance when my pin code didn't work, cleanliness, quietness good location for airport.

bedside lamp bulb blew as soon as I put it on, no-one there to find out if I could get a spare bulb from anywhere. Minor issue, not really a problem

There was no staff in the building to complain to about the level of noise that other residents were making in the middle of the night. Our children were terrified at the drunken state and level of noise coming from the people in the room next door and sounded like they were having a party in the lobby. Locking each other out of the room and practically trying to knock the door down to get back in. Our girls had an important dance competition the following morning and hardly got any sleep due to the noise. I have emailed to complain about this and heard nothing back.

The cost and location for our purposes for a 1 night stay before travelling further into Scotland

No heating was not really wheelchair friendly as we struggled to get in from street could have done with a stool for the shower

clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced & suited us fine for our ferry connection to Ireland the next day. Also very flexible with arrival/departure times. Unusual not to see any staff, but instructions & welcome note was left, so we didn't have any problems with this. All kitchen provisions were there & everything was in good order & was clean.

The booking was extremely easy and contact and correspondence by email was very prompt and comprehensive. We booked a family room for three adults and were delighted to find that ROOM 1 was in fact 2 twin rooms with ensuite - GREAT! Although we did not use the kitchen facilities if we were booking again we certainly would. There is a shop just around the corner for anything you might need and as the advertisement says there is adequate parking very close by. Although you are only 25 yards from the main road this is a very quiet location.

It was near the troon ferry, it was clean and spacious

No breakfast available even though a review is done of the breakfast room (sneaky). No staff anywhere. Didnt see one person. Wanted to pay cash for our stay but I presume they have charged our credit card by now. Should have been called a hostel bacause that it what it is.

Comfortable and clean and excellent value for money.

Good location, nearby shops and cafes. Flat screen wall mounted TV, large shower, failry bright room.

Bathroom not cleaned, shower was cold and temperature very changable, towels smelt fousty, stain on quilt cover.

Bathroom narrow, floor slippy & no mat provided, so be careful getting out of shower. Parking on road, not that easy to find a spot - seems to be a free car park nearby, which is empty after Bingo finshes.

Although their was no staff on premises, it was easy to access with the code. It was very clean though basic.But the price was right and although no breakfast there was tea & coffee.

Only two things I would have liked was a bed side light and a full length mirror. But you get what you pay for.

Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y confortables. No habia nadie para recibirnos ni para despedirnos. Es de agradecer la zona común para los huéspedes con nevera, cocina, mesa y sillas, donde se puede cenar o preparar un desayuno pues allí no hay servicio de comidas. La relación calidad-precio está muy bien.

Prima kamer welke voor het doel (overnachten) goed voldoet. De pincode werkte niet wat maakte dat we telefonisch contact moesten zoeken met een medewerkster op afstand. Er is geen personeel of zoiets in dit guesthouse aanwezig.

Geen personeel aanwezig wat de toegankelijkheid bemoeilijkt omdat de vooraf verkregen pincode niet werkte, geen ontbijt en slechte parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Auto staat daarmee onbeheerd op een groot parkeer terrein uit het zicht.

Our stay was unseasonably cold and there was no heating available. There are no staff actually on the premises.

Guest house, molto spartana ma in camera c'è quasi tutto (manca solo l'asciugacapelli). Comodo, pratico, la colazione può essere fatta nel negozio all'angolo (1 min a piedi). Ideale come appoggio per i ferry di Troon o l'aeroporto.

The condition of the rooms and bathroom were clean.

We didn't meet any staff there so not sure if we did the right thing when we left the place. In other words, the check out process was very different than what we are used to.

We stayed at St Andrews Guest House as we had a wedding in irvine and wanted a cheap and cheerful place to stay, this one looked like the best out of all of them. It was very clean and beds were comfy.

When we arrived we noticed we didnt have an iron and when I went to use the shower it wasn't working, however when we phoned Andy he came right down with an iron. Then he came back down about the shower, which couldnt be fixed, so were told we could use another room for the shower and if we wanted we could move to that room. We decided to just use the shower and stay in the original room. Think maybe staff could double check rooms before guest come to stay E.g check if there is an iron and shower is working. Despite these problems we would definietly stay here again!

Very convenient for a night stop as we were travelling north. Price good and the arrangement satisfactory.

I have still to check my account but am sure the correct amount will be debited in which case it won't be a problem.

Excellent value for money. We haven't met with the staff but it was no problem for us. The payment has been approved by booking and made automatically after our stay. Again no problems and the room was clean so for if you need only stay under roof overnight it is the best what we've found during our holidays...

Easy to reeach, quiet, close to shops and beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! Close to many other places like Glasgow and Island of Aran to make it a central base. Thank you for a good stay.
