Breakfast and large bed
Nothing - all was good.
This is the first time my wife and I have stayed here and we were both very impressed with the hotel, ti was amazing with a sweeping staircase, Would highly recommend and we will certainly go back and stay again.
Staff & Rooms
Xmas Party until 12.15am that was not disclosed in the Booking.com email confirmation. The person in the breakfast room that felt it necessary to abuse my autistic and disabled son because he made some noise as we tried to calm him down. Not the hotels fault but just the cherry on the cake!
Ample room for parking. Within easy walking distance of town centre + rail station.
Unfortunately the person in the room above mine (I was in number 26) was a noisy snorer which disturbed my sleep as was so loud! However I realise other customer's 'habits' are not something the hotel can do about. I would stay at this hotel again + hopefully sleep better next time.
Receptionist on duty when I arrived was very smartly dressed and greeted me with a warm genuine smile. Although I had booked a small single room it turned out to be quite adequate for my needs and was better than I expected. The parking was good and not too tightly packed so little danger of my car being damaged by people opening card doors against it.
Difficult to fault it for the price I paid. If I were to be really picky I would say that the receptionist on duty when I checked out wasn't quite so smartly dressed as the one on my arrival. But that's just me trying to find something to write here!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Our room was lovely and spacious and well decorated.
The bed was very hard which was not great as I have a bad hip but even my husband said it was a bit too firm for him and we both like a firm bed, also not much soundproofing between walls and also floors/ceilings.
Room size and bathroom good. Very good breakfast
Being very picky - finish of bathroom could be better. Looked newly done - I would get builders back to improve finish.
Evererything was excellent, welcome, food, room, very food value for money.
The overall feel and comfort of the hotel was brillent, the staff were helpful and polite, and the egg Benadict at breakfast was to die for, worth going back just for that.
Big room with huge bed and 2 TV's!! Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits. Plenty of room to move about and lovely decor. Good sized bathroom. Everything we needed!
the hotel was nice lovely settings and room
wish they would put the wifi password on the welcome pack as I wanted to use the wifi but didn't want to go all the way back down to reception to ask for it
Feather and down pillows and duvet! It clearly stated on the website that the room was small and indeed it was -- but it was very well appointed and comfortable. So nice to see a hotel doing what it says on the tin! Great breakfast too and super-friendly staff
Lack of soundproofing....was kept awake until early hours by EXTREMELY noisy couple (!) in room above!
The food was superb, all staff very friendly and welcoming.... Also had a fantastic bath! Very pleased over all.
The cost - great value for money The building -lovely setting The staff - very helpful and friendly Overall - I would stay here again
The mattress wasn't the best - sagged a bit Room size was a bit small, but I guess that's got to be balanced up against the cost
Beautiful afternoon tea. Beautiful rooms. Great staff.
The walls are paper thin and I was woken up throughout the night due to people coming back late and slamming doors. I could here upstairs room every movement.
Location was very good as I had travelled up from Devon on my way to Birmingham and was able to see friends in Droitwich. Very good breakfast.
Room was very small even for a single and there was late disturbance from the people directly above.
Quiet setting. Spacious rooms . Lovely public areas. Luxurious facilities and nice finishing touches in rooms.
Staff who knew the locality well.
beautiful hotel and great room great breakfast
the staff they were so freindly
the fish chips chef kept the grey skin on makes the fish smell
Excellent value for money. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Room was first class with a huge sower room. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Loved our room - the bedding was fresh & crisp - lovely quiet setting of hotel - plenty of on site parking
Shower over bath - screen leaked - no bath mat - no hand rails over bath.
A clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. Bed and room size above average (at least the room I stayed in). The hotel offered a good breakfast selection. An excellent hotel and I'd be very happy to stay there again when I am in the area.
The water pressure in the shower wasn't great and there was too much vinegar on my Eggs Benedict, but I couldn't fault the hotel otherwise.
Nice big room Great meal in the pretty restaurant Good location about 15 minutes walk from town Plenty of parking
Cold bathroom Small shower screen means floor got wet Noisy guests
Cozy fireplace living room, very confy bed, nice shower
The heating was turned off at night, which made our sleep very uncomfortable, despite the nice bed.
