Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Owners were very easy-going and accommodating. We could come and go as we pleased throughout our stay. Nice breakfast, lovely country location close to Hastings and Bexhill.

Booking.com shows that this B & B take the full range of Debit/Credit Cards!! Booking.com needs to update its records, as this isn't the case!! The owners have apparently made this clear on several occasions! Had Booking.com's website been accurate, this would NOT have been a problem.

The owners of St Benedicts Byre are very nice people. The place can be hard to find via Sat Nav but if you head down Castle Road opposite the White Hart Pub in Catsfield Road, you will find it. The Room is comfortable & clean with tea & coffee making facilities. The views over the Countryside are exceptional. No television for us was a bonus. I would recommend this place and will hopefully return in te near future. Please note payment is in Cash Only.

The owner made us very welcome. It was calm and peaceful.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. The setting, the room, the relaxed but professional service, the breakfast. I still can't believe what a brilliant choice I made when booking St Benedicts Bryre B&B.

A warm welcome from our hosts. Beautifully appointed and comfortable room with fabulous views across the countryside. A great locally sourced and substantial breakfast. Excellent value for money and a short drive to the coast and nearby towns such as Battle, Bexhill and Hastings. For those that like local produce there is also a good selection of farm shops in the area. We'll definately be returing!

Absolutely nothing to dislike at St Bendicts Byre.

The location, the views from the garden, Andrew and janet were very friendly and helpful with where to visit etc. breakfasts were amazing,homemade bread was gorgeous.

Really lovely place to stay and relax, there was no Internet access or television in the bedroom which might deter some, but not us!

There is not window curtain.

Very comfortable stay. No TV which normally would not be an issue but in the middle of the Olympics was not ideal (even though booking.com states the room has a TV)

Great location although not so easy to locate! Lovely outlook and nice and quiet. Friendly helpful hosts.

No lounge area to use (that we are aware of). Privacy not great with layout of facility. Aware of an apparent lack of soundproofing from the bedroom to the rest of the home. Better instructions as to how to locate the property and then better signposting/directions down the access drive would be a good idea.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Great breakfasts, home from home. Very peaceful.

Loved the quiet scenic location and the garden, although the country lanes were a bit hairy to negotiate by car and on foot. Fantastic breakfast, Comfy bed and ensuite with bath. Warm and friendly hosts. We could come and go as we pleased.

Not having T.V. in bedroom. Hitting my head on the attic beams when I bent down to plug things in. Something I got used to very quickly.

Fabulous views, lovely breakfast. Well decorated and cosy country bedroom with ensuite. Left my glasses there and they sent them back to me the next day.

Not a stand up shower.
