Bathroom is terrible and I do not have any public position to relax
Friendly, helpful staff, reasonable price and fantastic location
I would have liked a bit more room between bottom and top bunk. I couldn't sit upright.
The reception from staff and their friendly appearance. Meeting other people.
The location of toilet & shower room and users not cleaning after themselves in the common room.
The staff at this place are so lovely and welcoming, and the pub has a great vibe.
The bathrooms could have been cleaner.. they were adequately hygienic and the beds were the uncomfortable, squeaky kinD that I guess you should expect at such a cheap price.
location (right in the middle of historical Bath), free wifi (which actually worked), great breakfast in the room rate (buffet style so you could eat whatever amount that you wanted, there was ham, cheese, jam, butter, yoghurt, cereal (more types), milk, toast, fresh orange, tea, coffee, apple and orange juice), nice towel, free toiletries, hair dryer in the room, large table and multiple seats in the room, nice staff.
When I stayed there the room was freezing! And I mean it. Outside it was below zero, inside no more than 10°C. I understand that the heating was somehow broken. The other girls in my room told me they already informed the staff twice about this, but nothing actually happened while I stayed. I had to sleep in all my clothes and I was still cold. I really hope this was only an accident and not a regular thing!! The showers have no temperature regulation so most of them were freezing and one was boiling. There was also a lot of noise coming from the pub till early a.m., because the window is old and had zero insulation - one of the reasons why it was so cold in the room because the wind basically just blew through - in addition to no heating.
Excellent food, drinks, celebration and presents for Christmas! Everything for FREE, cool party, cool people! Thanks to personal of hostel, it was unforgettable!
Good breakfast, good working wifi , great location , friendly and relaxed staff
No utensils - had to ask the downstairs bar for bowls, cups and cutlery. Just a kettle and mircowave in the lounge area right at the too of the building. No sink. Showers were quite cold. Poor value for money but still the cheapest in Bath.
The price was cheap and you get a basic stay in return - facilities were basic but alright, and the bathroom was also ok. Also the staff were very friendly!
The wifi didn't work that well and my bed was a little springy. Also it can sometimes get a little noisy at night
The location is in the centre of the city, with nice pub next to it. The atmosphere is very youth-like.
Pub foods and drinks were expensive, beds were not good, poor lighting, and bad bad bad bad bad shower.
nice clean room with character and space
showers where freezing cold and sanitary bins were full. the street bellow my room was very busy and loud so I found it hard to get to sleep but I guess that's just consequence of being so central.
The staff is friendly and the location is good.
The checkin takes about half an hour and the bed has been taken by other one.
The room was good, location central
As it was in the middle of town it was very noisy at night being opposite a pub. So not a good night's sleep The breakfast was uninteresting
Everything. Disgusting toilets, noisy and very cold rooms.
very central location, nice staff
noisy even during off-season, many blocked toilets, very simple breakfast
Good value for money, very good and convenient location.
Showering is difficult because of the 'save water' tap, you can't control the temperature or volume of the water at all. Everytime you want the water last, you need to keep pressing the button. Beds are of bad quality when someone on the upper or lower bed turns over it makes much noise.
location is good, provide free breakfast
cold shower, no hot water, 12 person room is crowded
Old hostel for 18yr olds
Location, the people were great and very helpful. Really, amazing people who made up for the accommodations physical shortcomings.
We were near a major road and it was incredibly loud all night. We were woken up rather early for what we presumed was a bottle collection/drop off for the pub downstairs. Bed was pretty average.
It was very cheap, but still they serve breakfast, which is enough considering this price. And also I think its convenient to go everywhere central in the town, of course to the train station as well, just 10 min walk or so.
Location, location, location. Great price for the location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Decent pub food at great value.
Lack of kitchen. Uncomfortble common area.
The location was fantastic, so easy to get to the main attractions in Bath. The walk to the station is also quite short. The staff, including the cleaners, were always helpful.
For the amount it is a night, I was expecting the quality of the hostel to be a lot better. The bathrooms need a bit of a renovation.
It located in the town center, close to a lot attractions and walking streets. Staffs are very nice and kind. They helped me to get to the laundry with patience although they were busy at Halloween night. BTW, breakfast is simple but really nice.
The shower:( And the stairs. I lived in room 7 and it is very hard to find this room (no signs). So at first I had to walk up and down for several times, carrying my heavy luggage.
