Score from 678 reviews Good
It was very cheap, but still they serve breakfast, which is enough considering this price. And also I think its convenient to go everywhere central in the town, of course to the train station as well, just 10 min walk or so.
Location, location, location. Great price for the location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Decent pub food at great value.
Lack of kitchen. Uncomfortble common area.
The location was fantastic, so easy to get to the main attractions in Bath. The walk to the station is also quite short. The staff, including the cleaners, were always helpful.
For the amount it is a night, I was expecting the quality of the hostel to be a lot better. The bathrooms need a bit of a renovation.
It located in the town center, close to a lot attractions and walking streets. Staffs are very nice and kind. They helped me to get to the laundry with patience although they were busy at Halloween night. BTW, breakfast is simple but really nice.
The shower:( And the stairs. I lived in room 7 and it is very hard to find this room (no signs). So at first I had to walk up and down for several times, carrying my heavy luggage.
the location is great price is cheap
Location Reasonable price Good facilities Very close to the abbey, train station, shops etc. Environment felt safe too Free breakfast includes in room price. Overall value for money if you just need to stay for a few nights.
Noisy pub just below the hostel Poor sound proofing Water does not come out of shower continously but here's a tip- keep pressing the button while its on. The water will flow as long as you do that
The location is about as good as you can get as a base for looking round Bath
being a hostel didn't realize the on suite facilities didn't relate to the toilet as well, and we didn't get fresh towels our second day.
In the middle of Bath. Friendly backpackers room for two. I fortunately did bring my earplugs because the shared bathroom next door would have been noisy
I was comfortable in my bigger part of the bunk bed beneath. My friend in the upperbed was less comfortable in the smaller bed..and he forgot to bring his earplugs.
So you should know when you sleep upon a bar, that could be little bit difficult. But it's still a nice hostel.
location and friendly
very kind staff, free locker for luggage.
heavy noise from outside at night. feel like sleep above a train station.
great location. very close to the Roman Bath , Bath abbey and Pulteney bridge.
The windows of my room is opposite towards the street. So quite hard to fall asleep.
Position close to city centre
I booked a room with 4 beds.. but I sleeped in a room with 10 beds thw staff changed my room, it was very noisy.. forniture and hostel very old.. no enough plugs in the room. The Bathroom was for male and female and it was really small and not clean.
Staff, clients, location, price, food.
The staff is really nice and the place is convinient to City centre.
The bed is too bad...
Staff are wonderful. Really really helpful and lovely. Great location, close to everything. Fast wifi
The only thing is my mattress was worn so it was a bit uncomfortable. I'm not sure how everyone's else's is and maybe I got a dud :)
We came and there was somebody else occupation beds we were supposed to use. The lady who worked there was very rude and treated us with no respect. We decided to change the hostel, hope other people had more luck there...
Wifi, noisy outside.
it was located at the center of city, and the ground floor is pub, so we can enjoy night easily.
the photo isn't real view, and the naming is tooooo small to find. we wondering around this hostel about ten minutes becaus it is really hard to find. and the staff's information is so simple that we didn't know there is a lounge
Good location & staff are friendly & helpful. Tks.
The road opposite my room facing towards the church building was very noisy with drunkards yelling their heads off from midnight till 2.30a.m. , disrupted my sleep!.
Extremely good value for money. I felt safe at all times and the place looks very friendly as well. It is just a 10 minutes walk from the rail station. Breakfast included as well as some special deals at the bar for guests only.
For the price paid - nothing really.
The location is PERFECT and the staff are nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good too.
The bathrooms weren't always clean and the water-saving showers weren't great. The worst thing was the noise, the first night I hardly slept because the pub and surrounding streets had people shouting until the early morning. You get used to it but the first night was bad.
Easy distance to basically all attractions. Great value of money. Great bar downstairs.
Quite noisy during the nights, remember to bring you earplug.
