The hostel does not have a kitchen and no common room. There is only an expensive bar which gets really loud in the evenings. Matresses on the beds are poor. There is no lift. Free wi-fi, it actually works The included-in-price breakfast is actually pretty good. I would recommend this hostel to tourists but not backpackers or workers.
Very small rooms, there are no free space for laguage, no security private boxes in the room, just one shower and 2 toilets for all rooms on the floor (3-4 rooms with 8 persons in each room), the building is old and rooms with toilets are also :-) on the first floor - pub. Loud music the hole night. Also need to pay for towel (it is not included).
The overall cleanliness, the kind staff, the hostel is located at the heart of London and the there's decent breakfast for free!
The noise during night time coming from the street as well as the fact you can't have guests visiting you in the hostel rooms.
Very kind,lovely,smiley staff,nice location.
Good service, good location and convenient for the price. Do not expect a 5 stars hotel with this price. It has the basic stuff, good breakfast and the atmosphere on the shared rooms are nice (everyone is so quiet, at least in the room I stayed in)
The bathroom is very small, and obviously on Fridays you can feel a bit disturbed from the pub downstairs.
No water station
Not great expectations. No kitchen.
good for money and location
all is good
Is cheap price and good all special in London
Good WiFi and staff
Everything else. Bed lights broken, bed very uncomfortable. reserved a bottom bunk and was told they hadn't received the reservation. Room was way too hot and noisy. Dirty showers and pillows too flat so may as well have been sleeping just on the mattress. Only stay here in emergencies!
You have to carry your baggage upstairs to the 20th, 3th or 4th floor.
Some times good prices on booking.com
One time I was there we had no hot water and none of stuff would care.
Quite Friendly Staff
My laptop been robed.. Staffs didn't care about it.. To much noise .. Impossible to sleep.. Cleaners, when they are comming to clean the room , they doens't show any respect when you are slepping.. And the are shoutting.. The hot watter is working one day yes one day no... And the toilets are very disgustings .. Always dirty
The bed was a good size with a power socket light and curtains. Wifi works in the dorm and is reasonably strong. There are a good range of shops nearby and the tube station in about a minute's walk away. Breakfast is ok with a reasonable choice.
The downside is most evenings there is loud music till 2am from the bar down stairs. I would suggest u bring ear plugs with you.
Cheap with connivence location!!
Staff, location and bar area
no hot water and toilets blocked up.
Good hostel, great position and clean.
Old building. It need of refurbished.
The Location The Bar and main room
Noise in the room due to constant opened windows for air extraction Choice at breakfast
the staff are very helpful and supportive. The room is nice and bed is comfortable. The shared bathroom is just near the room and very clean. Excellent location, just opposite the Hammersmith station and easy to travel. Lovely breakfast, especially for solo traveller, no need to go around to find the café its just downstairs. A nice bar to enjoy further discount on drinks.
A little bit noisy may because it located in a cross-section of the busy traffic. The lower berth is too low that I had my head hit 3 times a night. It is a good choice for one night stay but need more consideration if you plan a longer stay.
No lockers in rooms
I stayed just one night but it looks like I found a hostel in London where I will be happy to return. Great location, just in front of Hammersmith tube station. And what is very important for me, the room was clean, any smell as well the toilet and shower were all right. The mattress was comfortable. I was in a room with 3 bunk beds but it was a cosy and spacey room. The room was located to the street on a frequent junction so it was a bit noisy all the time, but I am a good sleeper so it did not bother me. Free wi-fi, free breakfast, very nice and helpfull staff. Great price.
Lockers in the room are too small, just enough for one laptop and other small belongings.
Had great roomies, excellent transport to Central London, many shops and restaurants around, get to meet people in the bar downstairs which is not very expensive. Room was spacious. Bathrooms and toilets were clean but because it is not refurbished it looks like it's not.
