Excellent family run B&B with knowledgeable and professional approach and great attention to detail. Very quiet rooms. Delicious breakfast and lots of good advice and guidebooks on local nature, wildlife and heritage. Great base for wildlife cruises to Farne Islands, Lindisfarne, nearby castles and gardens and land-based wildlife tours including otter spotting. Lovely local walks and beaches - we saw dolphins.

Own transport needed if not able to manage 15 minute walk to town centre
