Rooms are quiet and comfortable and food is simple but good. Pool is nice and staff there are helpful. When my tee shirt was taken by mistake from my room reception staff were totally unhelpful and seemed to regard it as my problem rather than their error |

The room was untidy, and in poor condition. There was a loud running water sound constantly in the bathroom, which was irritating. The window had been let wide open, which meant that upon my arrival late in the day, the room was freezing cold, and the heating was swtiched off. |

It had a good pool and garden area. Bar and lounges were comfortable and attractive. Under manager? Helpful when we said we were dissatisfied with rooms. We were shocked at poor standard of rooms and bathrooms, for the star rating. Upgraid was not much better. Reception staff not aware of price of stay as agreed when booking, had to produce proof on a few occassions and they still got it wrong on check out.because of size of hotel, service and staff very impersonal. |

Reception at checkin was helpful and polite. Main bar friendly and clean. Stayed at this hotel before, they have removed Table menu and now have an expensive evening menu which was of a very very poor standard. Starter served cold and steaks were very over cooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Another table also sent there food back. Would stay at hotel again but have bar snack that seemed good value and served in a nice atmosphere. |

The room was lovely and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had good facilities and was beautifully presented. The location of this hotel makes is perfect for exploring chester or wales. It's also really handy for chester zoo. The price of food and drinks was high. I was also not thrilled about the fact that there was no handle on the door, so I got stuck in the bathroom. Having said this, the handy man came quickly and was very appologetic. |

Excellent breakfast buffet. Free, convenient parking. It took three rooms before we had a toilet that would flush properly. Also, in the morining there was only cold water for a shower. After we finished breakfast there was hot water. We feel that something needs to be done about these problems before we could recommend this hotel. |

Ease to find and proximity I think that the rooms would benefit from a revamp, the room we stayed in had actually had a whole filled in the wall not rubbed down or painted |

I chose the hotel as it was close to my business destination. It was a comfortable environment for a lone traveller to have a meal and relax or catch up with business. |

Clean, functional room, with the most comfortable king size double bed!! Staff were polite and efficient. The tea/coffee making tray was basic: I was surprised that in a hotel of this quality, it didn`t have chocolate or cappucinno on offer. |

Hotel was excellent, staff friendly, room was very luxurious and the leisure club was lovely. The hotel was perfect, booking.com didn't complete my booking and the staff at the venue dealt with it brilliantly. I would definately stay again but I wouldn't book via booking.com - I'd deal with the hotel directly as if there had been no rooms available we would have had no where to sleep! |

Good value. Even some of the extra's were reasonably priced. Not helpful staff. Good clean comfy room. Good parking facilities. When it advertised the gym facilities,m I expected there to be a little more than a handful of machines |

Hotel was central for my purposes. Food was excellent and Leisure Club Facilities were very good. Parking was good as well. All problems I had were dealt with very well by Duty Manager. Bit confusing about whether breakfast was included in booking or not - see booking forms. Waiting Staff need to be more attentive and Service Staff need to be aware that guests require privacy on occasions.Very noisy during the night with other guests coming and going, banging doors and general loud comments in the early hours. |

The room I stayed in could do with a bit of a makeover - One of the light bulbs had fused/Room could do with a re-paint/Water for shower was only luke warm. I have stayed in better rooms there in the past. |
