Only stayed one night but everything was good.
It was very convenient as we were attending a work's Xmas Party at the hotel so we decided to stay over. We had everything we needed and the room was very clean
Decor could do with updating
Arrived at lunchtime. Was able to leave car in the hotel car park whilst shopping. The car park is quite secure. The room was still ready early than stated so a bonus. It was clean and tidy. Had booked the bridal suite and had a great view over the Medway river..
Part of package was champagne and chocs in room on arrival and were not there. Reception stated they would put in room whilst out shopping in afternoon. Alas not there on return so had to request again. Spoilt the moment a bit.
Staff got me into my room early.
Ease of access and closeness to where I needed to be. Parking was fine but could be difficult if there were loads of event on. Breakfast on both days was perfect and very freshly cooked. Single room had plenty of space and was very cosy with plenty of tea and coffee and chocolate
Wi fi did not work in my room nor did the TV but I did not need either so did not let reception know. I have every confidence that if I had called (there was a phone in the room) it would have been sorted as everyone seemed very professional and caring.
comfortable, clean, staff friendly and very helpful, good food.
I stayed here for one night whilst going out with work colleagues in Rochester the location was good close to work and close to town. Managed to find the hotel and park in the car park with ease. Room was comfortable and clean the shower was a little dated but for the money it was acceptable did not have much dealings with the staff bu any did have I found them to be pleasant and professional. I would happily stay here again when traveling on my own however it is a little too basic for my wife so I would not stay here with her.
I found it hard to find the entrance from the car park it was very dark and there were no signs I nearly ended up going down some fire 3 scape stairs on the side of the building I eventually decided to go back out the way I had driven in and the slope was very steep to walk down, fine for me a 31 year old male but any one with any difficulties walking would have had trouble. Once in the hotel I got lost again looking for reception I ended up going up and down some stairs a before I found my way and then had to walk through the bar to the reception area, which I didn't like but that's just my opinion.
Great location .but bad hotel staffs behavious

Friendly staff, cracking vegetarian option breakfast and more than enough tea bags in the room to sate my tea addiction.
The lift mechanism was perhaps a little too audible in the room where we were (top floor, directly opposite lift) but wasn't a huge issue.
Staff were friendly and helpful . Check what time car has to be moved if parking on main road overnight !
Good value for money, room was basic but clean & comfortable and everything worked well. Friendly staff.
They had a function on so the car park was full & I had to park in time restricted bay on street. Kitchen closed too early (9pm) so I had to go out for takeaway. Really annoying dripping noise outside kept me awake.
Location was suitable for our evening out.
location, staff and service
The hosting of parties till the early hours both nights of my stay effected my sleep. the doors being slammed in the corridors by guests, the soft closing mechanism wasnt working.
The friendliness the cleanliness I thought it was great value for money and the meal I had there was lovely to for a two star hotel I believe it deserves another star
It was quite
We walked back to the St George 1:12pm. A very nice young lady greets us with smile and 'hello'. Can we check in ? She is very very helpful to us after a long haul flight and we need a good rest, she checked us in a hotel. ( she is in her early 20's) she is good at her job. 5 stars for her.
When we arrived 12+pm and the receptionist ( short hair lady in late 40's or 50's ) she responDec without a hello or how are you.. Straight asking check in? Too early, come back after 2pm. That's not the way talk to a guest or showed the guest your miserable behaviour. We went out have coffee and heavy room.. We walked back to the St George 1:12pm. Location was good.
Breakfast did not match the meal that we had in the hotel in the previous evening.
Everything was Excellent.
The size of the rooms
There was a smell in the lobby and the actual room and the bathrooms were not very hygienic.
Large room, comfortable bed and pillows. Good car park at the rear.
Bit difficult to find - but staff guided me in on the phone!
Position convenient. Parking Clean
Way behind the times. Might have been modern in the 70's Very basic.
