Great location, 5 minute walk from Baker Street tube station.
Our room was on the second floor however this meant climbing 5 flights of stairs with our luggage as there were no lifts.
Noise from traffic.
Rude staff especially daytime reception staff!!!!!
There was no AC
Excellent facilities. Everything was available.
Location 24/7 Desk
Room too hot - Air Con needed 20 to 30 minutes to cool down
Staff didn't understand English so there was a dispute with the bill.
The groundfloor room just after the entrance was great.
Nice place near Metro station and center.
Our room was on the last floor and there was no lift(
Location- nice triple room, comfy bed
Excellent location, good comfort. Always a pleasure to stay in this little but nice hotel. Very kind staff.
Great location 5 minutes walk from the centre of Oxford street. Very helpful staff Very clean and comfortable room Free wifi
I had to leave two days before end of my booking and would like a refund for those two days my booking was until rhe 3rd and I left on the 1st of February.
Few times Internet disappeared , but problem was promptly recovered by staff. Sometimes it was too hot or too cold in the room.
Perfect location. Clean and beautiful room.
huge rooms friendly staff excellent wi-fi location
a cockroach on my bed
The hotel was the type of hotel we were after - quaint, in a quiet area, comfortable. The staff were very helpful with all aspects of our stay. We were a group of 11, and had 5 rooms spread throughout the building. Short walk to Oxford Street.
We were aware of this when booking, but for those who have a room on the higher floors you will need to be quite fit as there is no lift. The breakfast room is TINY, our group would've had trouble being able to find places at the same time so we chose to eat breakfast out.
A really nice hotel. Basic comfort, very cosy, nice staff. Wi-Fi worked well. A plus with rooms for three people - with separate beds. Located midway between Marble Arch and Baker Street tube station, 10 minutes to walk either way. In Baker street, there are some restaurants for breakfast - Starbucks, Pret and so on. We enjoyed the stay.
3% is added to your bill if you pay with any foreign cards or British credit cards.
The room was comfortable with a large bed and clean bathroom. It included an (old) kettle for making tea in the room.
No elevator, wifi signal was very weak on the top floors (3rd) and the metro was a 10 minute walk.
Location good, great breakfast, friendly staff.
Only small hand towels, not really bath towels. Extra hidden charge for breakfast.
Central location to everything we already know being ex-Londoners ourselves
Falling down the stairs several times due to the lack of signage/stripes on the carpet design/no carpet edging strips advising you as you were passing through doors on the stairs that the stairs continued!! H&S Hazard. Bed had seen better days and we fell towards each other in zip & link where the bed dipped. Hairs in basin and bath, dust everywhere in bathroom, badly marked carpet. Room right at the very top of the house with a girl at reception telling us "oh we don't have a lift" then walking off again. When you arrive the picture painted is of good strong solid, wooden doors, care and attention to cleanliness - this changes dramatically once you are past the first floor!! Beware which room you choose as the best deals are not what you think you are getting. Pay a bit more and go to one of the other hotels just a short walk away bookable on Booking.com also
Something wrong with the heating system in the room
Convenient and price.
Bed and pillows so uncomfortable
Very comfortable, clean & staff helpful.
Not to expensive. What you pay for is what you get. Nothing to be excited but also nothing to be disapointed of. Located just by Oxford Street very close to all shopping area.
The room we got was VERY small. we booked a room for 3 and got one with 3 beds but apart of the beds not much space left. Consider to be at "cetral London" but if you mean by "central" the area of Westminster then it is not.
