was in a lovely peaceful place staff where brill ,got a take away to our door as it was too late for food it was lovely and warm for us going in heating was left on all the time, shower was a power shower fantastic, kettle and hair dryer just what i needed many thanks would be happy to book again
little draft under the front door.also needed more milk for tea and coffee and couldnt get signal on 02
Room was warm and spacious Excellent value so close to Heathrow The girl behind the bar was very helpful The grounds are spacious
Had to go into the town for something to eat in the evening as food is only available at weekends No breakfast available A bit off the beaten track
Had a double bed each, which was mega comfy. Room was clean and warm. Very close to the barracks, which is why we chose it.
It was located in the middle of no where, no shops in the area. Ordered pizza and even the delivery guy got lost trying to find us.
Liked everything served our purpose and very close to where we was visting
Was dust on wall lights
Big room, shower was good, price at £45 seemed good.
Could not find the place, the place to obtain key was different to the location advertised. The heating did not work, I was unable to phone the reception as there was no phone in the room and there was no signal at this location. The room was next door to the "boiler room / compressor" and there was constant noise all night. I was unable to sleep all night.
Excellent value similar to the premier inn I usually stay at in Woking and just as comfortable. Brilliant location if shooting at Bisley, much easier than Woking to get to the range. Will therefore choose this accommodation again.
Location although good for shooting is a bit isolated. When travelling without a vehicle it is difficult to get to a local shop or somewhere to eat that isn't at the Bisley grounds.
Overall facilities good, enjoyed our meal. Room very clean and tidy, hot water, and the radiator worked. TV reception was good.
Difficult to find, when we asked at one of the other lodges, in the grounds, where to sign in, the gentlemen did not know. Asked another person he directed us straight away, very helpful. Once found there was no problems.
Its a cheap place for a night or two, comfortable room with good bath but not the easiest to find after dark even though I have stayed here before!
Wifi wouldn't work but I arrived late so not a big problem. Also tricky to get anything to eat nearby so best to bring a picnic.
The comfortable beds
Hot water in the bathroom was good. Tiny bar of a soap was almost too small . Big double bed with good pillows was very comfortable.
The directions to find the place are very poor. Arrived in the dark and had to request help from the camp guard who came with me in the car to find the key and then find the Lodge. Without his help I would have been totally lost on the 50 acre Bingley Camp site. Had to go to a nearby lodge for breakfast. Facilities in the lodge are basic with a tiny TV. Kettle to brew hot water - but no snacks available. Small fridge had nothing in it. Only one easy chair to sit on in the room - it was OK but just one is quite inadequate. Poor lighting in the room.
Everything about the lodge was fantastic staff and wonderful food
Me and my Mum stayed here as it was close to the train station and ACT Pirbright where we needed to be the next day. The beds were comfy and the room large. Staff friendly and helpful.
The room was really hot and took us a while to cool the room down. We also used the ceil fan to help with this.
Great location for Bisley (obviously). Very comfy bed and warm room. Wifi was fast and reliable. LMRA Clubhouse had fine pub grub and beer.
Not a lot. Clearly an old barracks converted and not the Hilton but better than many 3 star hotel chains I have stayed in.
Well located for facilities
Room had not been cleaned from previous occupants!
Skanked me for a further £10 because I hadn't booked it as a double room - despite the fact I did in fact book it as a double room.
Nice big room with 2 double beds.
I wasn't told where to pick the key up from - This took me sometime going from building to building but we eventually found it. The room was great but the bathroom was old and stained. On departure, when we went to drop-off the key - The room was locked so we spent sometime looking for a person to hand in the key.
Nice friendly place! Good value for money!
TV in room very small
Not much but bathroom had mould on tiles etc
Very large clean and comfortable room Two very comfortable beds with good bedding and very nice pillows. Lots space for clothes. Good tea/coffee facilities and Good WiFi reception (free)
If we were not there for a party on the site it would have been an odd place to stay. Breakfast (extra) was not the best.
Good size warm room
Very difficult to find where to check in. The heating/water system was very noisy and woke me up throughout the night
lovely beds, very clean, large room with everything we needed.
It really is hard to find, its on a 50 acre site in the surrey countryside so a detailed map would help.
it was near where I needed to be.
it was noisy, surrounded by others on three fairly thin walls. The wifi didn't work or wouldn't connect. There was someone else's rubbish in the bin - yuk! Difficult to find where to check in.
Friendly staff lovely warm room very quiet location
Food facilities only servered between 6pm and 8pm no breakfast
Ideal for the facilities at Bisley, right next to Lord Roberts Centre. Lodge facilities are very good - comfortable bed, warm room and plenty of space.
