No space in room
Good value for money, very helpfull staff
I've there for my first time, so I can only gives judgement for what I experienced there, whether I was luck to get the right person at reception and so on or if all that I experienced there are indeed their normal standard, I can't tell A guy Very friendly and helpful at reception, A very spacious room, the coffee facilities was the best I have ever seen not only for the quality of the products offered but also for the variety of it Plus check out at 11:30 was very welcome
The nearby underground causing noise and vibration up until 2330 hours.
No fresh / clean bedding. No room for breakfast - it's brought to your room (where you can hardly move or open the door to the bathroom) and only contains a very sugar-containing muesli bar and prepacked croissant, little ehrmann yoghurt and wheaten buns. Instant coffee or tea can be cooked in the room. Heater was working almost the whole day - no chance to turn it off.
LED Tv, free wifi, comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and tidy bathroom, refrigerator, fan, flipable chairs.
Non safety window just next to bed, heater next to bed, no lift, no wardrobe, no door security locker, room size too small
The hotel room had everything. A bathroom, tea and coffee, a TV, free wifi, a radiator, a fridge, a safe. I wasn't expecting to get all this for the amount I paid. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd stay here again.
Booked a single, got a triple / double room. Nice staff (reception and cleaner). Other guests wrote about noise: well yes, but what do you expect in such a central location? One bathroom was very nice, the other - well - ok-ish. But for that money ... Can't complain!
Wifi has a few issues. Could only use one of the APs, my password did not work for the other. Breakfast is served in the room. Well, I found it in front of my door. Just one time I did not. Staff said it must have been taken by other guests. Someone in the hotel was not nice, I just don't know who ...
Really loved this trip. Ut gonna be a memory
Really short & narrow staircase and passages
Location was great, plenty of places to eat near buy. Water from shower was hot which I like Anyway .
Was very disappointed, didn't expect much as didn't pay a lot but that wasn't the point . Not all the covers on bed were clean they smelt of bio! Time we got back to room and realised was very late so only slept with a sheet on. Room was very run down. Broken tiles in bathroom, scum marks in shower cubical in the base where you stand . Breakfast .... 2 kids cartons of orange juice . Long life crossiants that were dry and chewy, long life pineapple chunks in a small tub ! Need I go on. Checking out time ...... Leave key on chair that has a note stuck to it ! Not very professional . Would not stay again , shame as great location and hotel has potential
Conveniently located just a 2 minute walk from Paddington Station. This was among the cheapest hotels we could find in London
We had a basement room and being so close to Paddington station you hear the noise and feel the vibrations every time a train goes past...which is approx every 5 minutes..! I'd ask for a room on a higher level, although I'm not sure if these are more expensive..? We stayed in December and were only given a very thin duvet. Not sure if extra bedding is available as we didn't ask, but this would have really helped!
Close to Paddington station. Good TV and variety of channels.
No lift, room is on 6th floor! Breakfast is extremely basic, plan to avoid consuming it altogether. The toilets are tiny, assembled basically as a caravan type into the room - not enough room to shave there.. the fan is too noisy and thus the toilet is not getting fresh air at all. Somehow the toilets get smell of smoke as if someone is smoking there (although nobody is). The staff was really doing me a favour to be attending the check in. I'm totally surprised the place is still running like a motel in the 50's..
Lovely room, very close to the tube/train station
Shower cabin was really tiny... All food for breakfast was industrial/ packaged
Only the bed
The room is not clean
Clean, recently renovated room. Good location, very close to the tube.
Exceptionally small, two people could not stand at the same time - the one would have to sit or lie on the bed for the other to dress, unpack, pack, etc. Limited luggage space, actually unpacking was not possible. We were given a room at the basement, definitely no value for money. Would never book again this hotel.
Room was clean beds comfortable tv WiFi tea and coffee provided and the continental breakfast was delivered to our room with plenty to eat.
Staff slow at answering the door and couldn't find anyone in the morning when we had no water to shower or wash. Couple more pillows would have been great too.
It is so close to Paddington station so getting around is easy. Lots of shops and restaurants(inc halal ones) around. Oxford street, marblearch are within walking distance. I was given a room on the street level, facing back of building. The room was small but comfortable. It was a little warm so I didn't have to turn on the heater. The bed was good enough for me. The building does rumble everytime a train passes but it didn't bother me too much because I was in the room for only a few hours in the morning and train service stops at 11pm(?). The staffs are friendly. I recommend this hotel to budget travellers and if I do return to London, I would stay here again. and
Unfortunately I did find 2 baby cockroaches. So I made sure not to leave food and dirty cups around. I guess this can't be helped since the building is old.
location, free internet wifi in the room, helpful staff
The staff here were great - efficient, organised & pleasant. The room was well-kitted out & had everything I needed. Location was fantastic - very central. And last-minute prices were really good for this location.
Good location near Paddington station.
Continental breakfast was brought to the room, I would have preferred cooked english breakfast.
A save budget hotel for 5 people in a room. Breakfast is delivered to the room. Request a room on the ground floor. Suitable for a family who looking for budget hotel and did not mind about spaces.
Small bathroom. Small room with 5 people. No lift.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was delivered to our door and it was a lovely selection of things. Lots of tea and coffee available. Slept really well, no traffic sound except the occasional tube noise from beneath which we did not mind. Close to tube, local cafes and restaurants.
Cold water seemed to have run out after 1 shower, but it may have been just an issue for that day.
good location, a couple of minutes walk from paddington station, hotel decors are generally fine. Breakfast is quite good, served in the bedroom.
shower is either very hot or cold, hence not possible to take a shower! Luckily stayed there only one night. Single room is extremely small. I had only a rucksack so it was fine with me but i doubt people travelling with large suitcase wouldn't be able to put it in the room.
Great location ,hotel is in the center of London ,5 min from Hyde Park, 10 min. from Oxford street!!!Great facilities .The hotel was clean, attractive, in a lovely area and well run. The staff was very friendly and very helpful ,wi-fi in the room. The director of the hotel was extremely helpful to us and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was nice and big and cleaned daily . Close to the metro station, (2 min.away from the hotel)great location to visit London.
