Our room was on the ground floor (street level). Which meant we did not have to lug ourselves and suitcases up narrow flights of stairs. It is very accessible to bus routes and Paddington Station for access to the Heathrow express and London Underground. The breakfast tray of rolls, juice, and yogurt was delivered to our room promptly at 8:00 am -- adequate food but not exciting. (There is no separate room for the included breakfast.) The room was very small and the sheets were too small for the bed. Because it was on the first floor, we heard the rumble of the underground, which ran directly under the hotel, until late in the evening (midnight). One day (Sunday) the room was not serviced and the breakfast tray we left outside our door was not removed until we mentioned it on our return in the evening. On our last morning we had only barely lukewarm water for showers. The hallways were very narrow and usually crowded with luggage from other patrons being stored before check-in or after check out. NOTE: I assume question 5 regarding recommendation applies to the St. George Hotel and not "London" generally. We enjoyed London.

Very friendly staff. The space is small, but clean and functional enough. Very good relation quality/price. Breakfast only after 8:00 a.m. It could be nice when some solution could be available when that would be too late for some of the clients.

The service was excellent, we especially love the breakfast service (delivered to your room at 8am sharp), also the location is strategic and convenient - very close to the Paddington train station, there are plenty of halal restaurants nearby (suitable for muslims) etc. It was a pleasant stay, we really enjoyed it. Room's quite small but it was worth the price - no complaints.

The location is very good with Paddington Main Line and Underground stations being very close. Lots of cafes in the area for budget dining. All those stairs!! Always a hazard in any London hotel of course, but especially in a budget one as this was. However, you pays yer money and you takes yer choice. If you want a lift, then you need a bigger hotel and about 3 times the money, at least!!

Great location, very close to Paddington stations. Rooms pretty big and clean. Bedrooms on upper floors, would be difficult for older people to access rooms

Nothing I shall not use this place again Cramped dirty bathroom facilities etc were awful. Bed mattress on double heavily stained wrong size sheet. This place needs to do something in terms of decor.reception area is the size of a downstairs loo. All in all a pretty awful experience

Location was excelent being less than 5 mins walk from Paddington station and good tube connections to all central areas needed. A direct bus from kings cross area stopped within a minutes walk of the hotel. Continental breakfast was brought to the room every morning at 8 with enough to eat. Owner very helpful with queries and own key for access into the hotel at any time. Rooms too hot as centrally controlled.

location was great and cheap..breakfast in bed was great the fact that we were in room 19 on the very top floor with no lift and room was little cramped for two people..also the shower worked great but you had to let it run for 10 min for hot water which came eventually

This was very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Lots of tea and coffee were left in the room, together with lots of toiletries for the bathroom. The room was tiny and a bit shabby. I would have preferred a 24 hour reception

Location of the hotel is great (close to Paddington tube). Surroundings are fine as well. The room had a high ceiling preventing the small room becoming too claustrofobic and had a nice view on Norfork square. Hotel needs to be refurbished badly. The reception doesn`t look too professional, being located in a little room besides the hallway. Room was not clean and bathroom was too small (toilet and shower in one square metre).

Clean bedding, towels. Breakfast. Location. Cost. we used as a base as we where out all day. Perfect for this. You get what you pay for. Staff where all lovely. We had room up top which might not suit all as lots of stairs. Carpet could do with a clean, and down back of tv cabinet.
