Läget var bra, det var det ända!!!
Old, dusty, dirty and badly cleaned. Tiny small rooms. Breakfast was served i the hotellroom and it was a bad breakfast and not enough space to sit anywhere. The breakfast was a small piece of bread each, marmelad and little cheese and juice and a lot of cookies. It was problems with running water in toilettseat in 3 rooms. Had to change room because of it, but was the same problem in next room. No cleaning at all in one room, and badly in the others, no changing of towels. I recomend that you dont check in to this hotel.
Easy access to the train station
Breakfast is not good very cheap.
The location and the price
Room very crowded and could have been better decorated although clean Nowhere to sit except the bed
Great location for Hyde park, Royal Albert Hall, Tube at paddington
Very small room
Location was excellent Staff very helpful Good value for money, plenty of choice for breakfast
This was the only hotel I could find that would accommodate my family of 5 in one room. Plus all the beds were proper beds not sofa beds or camp beds. Great value for money. Free wifi. Breakfast was brought to the room which suited us perfectly and there was lots of choice. Close to the tube and very accomodating as they let us leave our bags whilst we investigated London. Would stay again :)
Close to paddington station
Mice in our room, breakfast was terrible, the hotel is above a train tunnel so the place shook every time a train went past
the location was surround by many restaurant easy access to underground train.
the room was on the ground floor there was a noise of underground tram was a bit disturbed our sleep during night.
Staff were very helpful. Beds were comfy. Location good for tube stations. Was only there for 8 hours so fine! Continental breakfast served in room - was ok - rolls, croissants, yoghurt, cereal bar, orange juice.
Very dated décor. Could do with a complete overhaul. Side lights didn't work in one room and hairdryer in the other room.
It was near Paddington tube station. Nice area! You could easily get to the city centre.
Bad value for money! The room was small and not very clean. There was literally no place to move! Breakfast was brought in the room on a tray but we had to have it standing, as there was only place for two people to sit. Ok, it's London but you shouldn't pay that much for a place like this.
In general I like this place.Excellent location -hotel is in central of London.Clean, good breakfast, free wi-fi in the room, good value for money , helpfull staff.I would like to go back there again.
The location Clean
Quite old No options for breakfast
Kreepy crawly in toilet, unfitted bed linen, permanent ventilation noise from the exterior. Not able to sleep properly.
I liked the neighbourhood, the park that is in front of the hotel, the staff as well as the manager who were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great and it was served in our room which was very convenient. All in all I liked everything and if I came to London again I would definitely stay there. Theo from Thessaloniki, Greece
Location Close to the underground and barclay's bike staff
Room very small Room 22 very noisy (just under an air-conditionner) it shouldn't be a room !!!! 4 floors without lift Dusty
Location was fine and it was not very expensive (for london) Nice staff
Breakfast was way too sugary and unhealthy, healthier choice doesn't have to be complicated - one boiled egg, toast sandwich croissant and squeezed juice would suffice
Location, flexibility, grwat crash pad .
-Breakfast delivery to your room -Near Paddington station, important if you want to make full use of the tube. -Blue line, open top bus near by. -Garden to cool off.
-no fan -no air conditioner -shower was not very hot, not a problem in summer) -tube can be heard and felt when it pass by. -no elevator -small stairs.
This shabby hovel has taken the name of the charming St. George Hotel at 49 Gloucester Pl. We thought we had booked a room at the charming hotel and were truly shocked when we arrived at the St. George hovel and discovered our error. But it was high season and hotels were booked so we had to endure 8 days in the hovel. The city of London and Booking.com should have regulations that prevent an upstart hotel from taking the name of an attractive, well established hotel and thereby preying upon unsuspecting visiting tourists. Our room in the St. George hotel at 46 Norfolk Sq. had a bed and a carpet from the Salvation Army, the sheets for the bed were too small and did not cover the mattress, the bathroom door was rotted, and we were given pineapple from China (among other packaged food) for breakfast in our room as the hotel has no breakfast room. The staff was friendly and did their best to turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse, but at the end of the day the St. George Hotel at 46 Norfolk Sq. is a sow’s ear.
location, price, staff
smell not as clean as I would have liked
The accommodation itself. The fan was not enough as it's too hot. I didn't sleep
Location , internet service and tv.
Facilities are old. Too small rooms and dirty..
The service was not bad
The location was too hidden
