Food cooked good not far from seaside
Impressed with the daily cleaning of the room, fresh towells every day and a very satisfying and hearty breakfast.
Any minor complaints we had were quickly sorted out by the owner and they now have good wi fi available throughout the hotel.
Very friendly amd welcoming. Breakfast was good and rooms are comfortable. Will definitely visit again.
Good clean and pleasant rooms With all your needs catered for. Breakfast plentiful and tasty.
The cooked breakfast brought in a little too soon.
nice location, very quiet, good food, comfy bed. on site parking.
couldn't access wifi
The owner was so helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Wish we had been able to stay longer
Very friendly and accommodating even when we arrived very late
food great staff friendly and helpfull
bathroom a bit small
Nice comfortable beds
When we arrived just after 4.30pm, we couldn't get in as the hotel was locked and no one was answering the door. We rang the phone number which went through to an answering machine. The proprietor was out shopping when we arrived.
Friendly, accommodating and flexible. Lovely and quite and comfortable.
Breakfast was only served from 8-30 and when needing to get to the ferry this is not early enough, requests for earlier service denied. Also, although cereals, grapefruit and yogurt are said to be available, only a few yogurt were, and when I asked for one I was told " when they are gone they are gone".
The Person who is manage the property, very strict which i didn't like. he should be pilot. other wise is OK. If don't go there only for this reason.
location,facilities,cleanliness etc,staff's attitude
Friendly owners, the best breakfast I've had anywhere (except from my wife of course... phew) in years.
The wireless didn't work but sometimes its nice to cut yourself off.
Owners very friendly & helpful - nothing too much trouble - looking forward to another visit
comfy bed, clean room and facilities and good breakfast
- host was very friendly
- ceiling had water damage - carpet in bathroom had what appeared to be mold - difficulty opening and closing windows - need a good cleaning
Good breakfast, comfortable bed room facilities were good apart from......
Could have had more milk pots, alarm would have been good in room and found hotel owner a tad bossy putting what he wanted to happen over what guest wanted to happen as inflexability over where we sat at breakfast!
Friendly welcome from Mick the owner. Close to the town centre.
Tastefully decorated, very clean, hotelier (Mick) friendly and helpful. I booked a single room but was given their nicest twin room at no extra charge as I was the only guest booked in for the weekend (wet weekend in January). Felt very comfortable during my stay there.
I said I just wanted milks topped up, no other servicing of room but came back to find bathroom had been 'serviced' including a very wasteful change of towels. Perhaps cards on door handles for guests to say "just top up consumables" / "consumables and used towels"/ "full service please" or only change towels left in shower tray.
TV in room not working
superb breakfast and a very comfortable bed
The way we were treated
en suite just a little cramped
