Our apartment was renovated and had modern kitchen and bathroom. There was no reception, but the caretakers were very friendly. The apartment was very centrally situated, but noisy. We had asked for a place that would be quiet at night. Replace old windows with modern. This would significantly reduce:1) risk of young kids falling out of the window, 2) immense street noise, 3) terrible draft that left the apartment cold - in July! Replace defect stereo and vacuum-cleaner. Improve security e.g. stronger maindoor to apartment. We felt very unsafe in the apartment. |

Location of the appartment in relation cities attractions. Area was quiet. However this was the only thing that was good. The price initially for the appartment was somewhere in the region of £600 reduced to £250. This appartment is not worth this money. Certain parts of the appartment need to be replaced or certainly repaired. We had to wash pots, pans etc as they were dirty. The tv/dvd did not work and I had to repair this. Floors were dirty, shower was broken the secure entry door to the appartments was not working and anybody could walk in off the nearby street. |

For a short stay in a self-catering appartment, one would expect not to have to buy basics like salt and pepper, washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets. A welcome pack of the basics like milk, butter, cooking oil would be good. |

It had easy access to the city centre. The standard of the apartment was not as per the discription. The bathroom curtain was filthy. The washing machine did not work. There were rubbish bags split and scattered by the entrance. |

Very convenient to Royal Mile. Helpful staff in Macbrae's although didn't tell us that they don't open till 11.00 on a Sunday which did cause us long, needless walk. Well equiped apartment. |

The room is very well appointed and has wifi. Lacks privacy in living room area. During my stay the temperature was warm outside and inside - I assume because of the huge windows - it became very hot |

It was fantastically comfortable and right in the middle of the city - you couldn't get any closer to the Royal Mile! The apartment was extremely well appointed, especially given the price (I would expect to pay much more for the quality of accommodation), with many features which would have made a longer weekend very, very comfortable - I fully intend using these apartments again, and for longer! |
