Very efficient welcome from Howard, the owner. Comfortable, decent sized bedroom. Spotlessly clean in the room and throughout the Hotel. Nice guest lounge. Free wi-fi. Anne Marie worked hard to create a very good atmosphere, especially in the dining room where she served an excellent breakfast. There were no negative points

It was a good location for all amenities. Views outstanding. A very Comfortable guest house both personally and in the furnishings. Well kept establishment. Attention to detail and personal touches made it head and shoulders above other places.

The owners are very welcoming with a geniune warmth & thoughtfulness. The cooked breakfast is very nice & sets you up for the day. I believe you get what you pay for, I feal my money was well spent staying here. There was nothing I didnt like. St Hilary guest house suited my needs perfectly

Superb view,the breakfast (lots of choice and freshly cooked) the hotel was spotless throughout and nicely decorated.Parking on street/side street was free.Staff were friendly and very good at their job.A real pleasure to stay! Not a lot really and I hate to nit-pick.Room could get cold but there was an auxilary fan heater if needed.The weather was very cold and therefore condenstation on the window first thing was a nuisance...spoilt the view!But that is minor stuff.Hated to leave!!

Warm welcome from friendly owner. One of the best cooked breakfasts I have had in a B&B. Large, comfortable room (Rm. 5) with fantastic views across the bay in both directions. Relaxing easy chairs in Window. Easy parking on promenade (out of season at least). Thoroughly deserves its star rating.

I liked ... * The breakfast, very well presented! * The bedroom , Very clean and always stacked up on tea's coffee's ect everyday! * Bed really comfy, a good night sleep That you couldn't have a takeaway / food in the room ! but apart from that everything Excellant!!! :)

The St Hilary Guest House is second to none. We were on our Honeymoon and it was the first time we stayed there. Howard and Anne-Marie were just so lovely, very helpful and friendly. The whole house is spotless and the decor is lovely. What we liked the most was the attention to detail, just little things that make all the difference. FOOD!!! brilliant, never eaten as good a breakfast in a guest house before, compliments to the chef!! We will be going back as soon as we can and we would reccomend the St Hilary to all. We had a fantastic wedding day and staying in the St Hilary just completed the whole weekend, Thankyou xx
